Rowanpaw's tail flicked with worry, "Well, yes. That is what I am saying."

"Well, what if I said I liked you back? Would you still like me?" Pebblepaw asked, staring at Rowanpaw, and blocking out the sounds of her sister yelling at her.

The tom's ears perked a bit, "What do you mean? Of course." His long legs made him looker taller than he actually was.

"I kinda do like you, more than a friend." Pebblepaw said as she stared up at him, her small legs not helping her at all.

Rowanpaw looked a bit awkward, "W-well I mean I like you as a bit more than a friend too Pebblepaw."

Pebblepaw brightened up and purred, but quickly looked down, her eyes clouded with sadness. "We can't be together though."

Fallenstep was once a rouge. She had a very hard life. She lived with her mother and father since she was a kit. They named her Rose. As a young kit, she was very curious and brave. She would sneak out at night just to explore. She got in trouble all the time. At age 10 moons, her mother suddenly disappeared. Her father roamed endlessly day and night, hoping to find his beloved. He started to ignore his daughter. Rose had to fend for herself. Her father was so blinded by grief, he forgot to eat. He ended up dying when Rose was only 13 moons. She began to understand more about forest life. She lived on her own for 35 moons. She had become fierce. She has a fast-witted mind. If she was in a trapped situation, she would be able to get out of it. If She had been up against a larger cat, she would have out smarted him. Rose, at age 48 moons, found Mistclan and changed her name to Fallenstep.

Rowanpaw smirked, "In Starclan there will be time I suppose. I will not mess with your fate." He gave her a small, forced smile.
