Finn paced in he corner of camp, his eyes filled wit tension and worry. He usually got like this when things got bad, or a least a little bad. He wasn't one that liked things to go wrong. Finn would rather have the pack perfect and safe. Happy and healthy. Now pups were being born in winter and the alpha seemed as tense as he did. "Would you quite pacing your giving me a headache" Pepper said in annoyance watching her half brother as he paced in the snow. Finn stopped at Peppers command but then only searched the camp as if something would come and attack them. "Calm down, Finny. Everything is going to be fine" She said, trying to calm him down.

Dagger immediately leaned forward, and began to lick Lilia soothingly. "It is alright Lila. He has gone a warmer, happier place. We will give her a proper burial," he said, pushing the remaining pups closer to their mum. "I need to report this to the alphaess," he murmured mostly to himself, but remained; Lilia needed him right now.

Caster chuckled softly. "At least we know they are healthy; when do you think they are due?" Caster asked, slowly heading out of camp.

Spirit returned a little while later and lay down her den, she noticed Finn pacing back and fourth. Spirit began watching from the distance. Apollo was happy Caster was being so kind to her, she smiled as she waddled in the snow. Her pups began kicking again and she stopped to cringe, there was a few moments of pain. Apollo ignored it and continued walking with Caster.
Lila cried louder.

"Would you please just go hunting or something?" Finn muttered his tail swishing as he spoke. Pepper flicked her ear. She knew Finn got like this when he was worried. He would always push away others even if he knew they only wanted to help. She gave a sigh then slipped away to the hunters den. She hoped maybe hunting would take her mind off of things.
Finn watched his half sister leave then he sat down in the snow. Once he heard Lila's cries his ears flattened and his eyes clouded with even more worry.

Dagger gently nuzzled her, and picked up the tiny pup body and exited the den quietly; he would return. He saw Spirit enter, and padded slowly to the entrance of her den. "Spirit... I have bad news," he said softly, gently placing the Yuki's body down in front of him as he awaited her arrival.

Caster noticed the pain cringe, and gently licked her muzzle reassuringly. "Do you want to head back?" he asked worriedly, pressing himself closer to her.

Launa padded out of her den, sniffing the air and pacing in front of the den. -Open
