I've been sitting back and watching this thread for days seeing if anyone was going to say anything about the things going on with Mojang and Microsoft. Personally I hate it, I wish Mojang would just keep it as is and not sell it. I am extremely worried on what Microsoft is going to do to the game, I already hate it SOOO much with how they charge money for textures and skins for the xbox version.

I know it, they're gonna kill it. Before you know it we'll have to pay for servers and skins, and you won't be able to choose which version of the game you play, and they'll cover youtube in copyright so we won't be able to watch the awesomeness!!! D: I cries. We should start a petition to give the original mojangstas complete control over where the game goes, otherwise we're doomed!

I had also heard that Notch would be leaving Mojang if they were bought out.

Notch probably made millions off minecraft, I don't understand why they sold it to Microsoft.
I don't think microsoft will ruin the game. They can't, because there will be riots if they do. Millions of people play minecraft, if Microsoft pisses off those millions of people, they've wasted the money they put into buying the game. But I am worried about where future updates will go...But you never know, maybe they will add something amazing. I don't think there's anything to worry about right now , especially since I doubt Microsoft will get any money from the players who have already payed for their copies of minecraft.
