In the Matthew 1;18-25 "the conception" it's talking about how an angel talks to Joseph through his sleep. It looks to me as if the pup here is sleeping and/or in intense concentration. Maybe the white/swirly thing is supposed to represent a spirit/angel? It seems to end right at the ear. Also, if a spirit is talking to you, you probably wouldn't listen to everything around you. (this is kind of a wild guess)

If you look at the cat in Liddi's avatar/her custom pet, you'll see that it's also a bob tail, has this kind of faint line under the eye, And I think they both have those eyelashes (this one I'm not too sure about). Those are definitely similarities.

it seems like this dog has slight ear-edits? Maybe they'll grow as the pup grows?[/i

Rats are always super late growers. Normal sized litters don't usually grow 'til day 18!

Since the no pup stage thing caught everybody off guard, I'll explain XD.

She is at her second right now. Given Selkine's concept, I didn't think making her have a pup stage really fit the idea at all. After all, she is meant to be a nature spirit of sorts that is also pregnant... to me making her grow normally would imply she both was born and spent her puppy years... pregnant... and that's just plain creepy to think about *shudders*. She is a spirit that had no childhood, she came to be as a full adult already.

I can't wait to see if it will be just her baby or them together, awww, that would be soooo cute!

On a similar note to Bel's, messaging staff asking for hints on their pups is a bit... yeah. Some of us don't appreciate it. I spent five or six hours today trying to keep up with... good lord, it had to be a miniature mob, all via PM, and a good handful+ of them were asking about staff dog hints. I'm having trouble doing the thing I was hired to do because of this. :/
I'm a master of dancing just out of reach and giving absolutely useless hints, anyway, so don't do that please and thank you. <3

Oh gosh that key heart pup reminds me so much of kingdom hearts! I wish it was a pps! But then the adult form might be even better!

And I'm also hoping like many others that selky will end up with a pup of her own! <3
