Table-top RPGs are one thing...

Have any of you ever LARPed and, if so, what is the most memorable LARPing experience you have ever had?

Come friends and gather round, let me tell you the story of my people(and by people i mean English majors). Once upon a time, i had a fantastic professor who assigned what he fondly called an uncomfortable ethnography paper. We were to go somewhere or do something that we would never consider doing otherwise. While many people went to bars and other boring places, I asked a good friend of mine what I could do that would actually be fun.
She suggested larping. Now those who know me personally know that i have a very hard time being around people, especially going alone to spend a day with people i don't know. It was the perfect idea.
I did some research and found a group about thirty minutes from me who did all day events almost edgy Saturday. I contacted them and then prepared to go.
Long story short, it was fantastic. I played as an npc and spent the day getting beat up with foam weapons of all varieties(and of course dealt my fair share of blows as well). I stayed until it was getting dark and it started to snow. My paper was the class favorite and everyone wanted to know if i was going again so they could come with me the next time. Unfortunately life got in the way and it has been two years almost since that experience. I can't go now because I'm going to be having a baby and can't risk getting hit in the stomach. Either way, i don't regret out one bit and i hope that someday I'll be able to go play with them again

Uhm, I'm sorry if these questions have already been asked, but do any of you read Homestuck? And how do you guys decide when to put out new pets? Because I wait for new pets and it's kind of weird that they only come out once a month (not to rush you guys or anything, it's alright, but i'm just curious why) I apologize if something is not clear, English is not my first language. To anyone,
Is there a way or will there be a way in the near future...that when a pet is in infant stage or teen stage, that we could have the option to stop that pet's growth at that point and keep the pet at that stage (either as an infant or teen)?
There are soooo many cute pets out there, but I can't count how many times I wish I had the infant or teen stage of the pet before it became full grown.
Sorry curious minds want to know.

Prooobably not, sorry. It'd make no sense to have PPS and EPPS pets then, if people could just freeze them. ^^;
