Jolene smelled a sweet smell. "She made cookies." She said, disappearing through the door to the left. "Hey auntie, I have a guest." She said. She nodded for Spencer to follow her.

He quickly tried to fix his hair, if anything was wrong with it, and straightened out his sweater and tie. After a moment he slowly walked into the room after Jolene. He kept his hands in his pockets and smiled for a short second, "Hi," he said with a small wave.

A woman was standing at the counter working. This was obviously the kitchen. The woman looked up and smiled. "Welcomed back Jolene. Woah who's this. Never told me you were bringing a cutie home." She chuckled. Jolene rolled her eyes.

He looked at her for a moment before hearing what she had to say. His eyes widened a bit and he looked down quickly in embarrassment. He glanced over to Jolene for a second then looked back over to her Aunt, "I'm Dr. Spencer Reid, or just Reid, I work with Jolene," he said.

The woman grinned. "I'm Sarah, Jolen's aunt. You're in luck! I just made some Skittles Cookies!" She said, rushing yo the pan sitting on the oven. "While my coffee is good, it's a LOT better with Sarah's famous Skittles cookies."

"Pleasure to meet you," he said and looked over at the cookies on the pan. He made a slight confused face, "There are 858 types of cookies in the world and I thought I memorized them all but I've never heard about Skittles cookies.." he said as he relaxed a bit, "They smell good."

"Cute and a brainiac." Aunt Sarah winked at Jolene. "He is a keeper." She said. Jolene smiled. "We are not dating. Plus you might make him explode with embarrassment if you're not careful." Said Jolene. She felt sorry for Spencer. She could feel his awkwardness.

His face flushed with embarrassment, not entirely use to the compliments. He made a nervous laugh and shrugged a bit, not sure what to say so he just spoke, "Thanks for the compliments.. I think," he said without really thinking. That was the best thing to say that came to mind.

Jolene giggled. "Your welcome." Sarah said, chuckling at the flush on his cheeks. "Come here 'Spence. Then close your eyes." Jolene said, waving him over with her hand.

He took in another deep breath and nodded when Jolene called him over. After walking over he did as told and closed his eyes hesitantly. He didn't prefer closing his eyes, being blindfolded or anything like that. Mainly because to many bad things happened when he couldn't see things around him. "Why am I closing my eyes?" he asked, opening his right eye slightly.
