Looks great so far! I love this image that you put in your signature! The arrows and anchor go well together.

This is a really good tutorial, and kudos for taking the time to type it up.
Though, as a suggestion, would it be alright to expand the section of colour harmony or colour theory? I've seen a few signatures that aren't harmonious with the colors scheme and I think this might help out a little.
