no offense to the artist, but i couldn't figure out what made this pet stick out in my mind, i mean, it's pretty simple..
but then it hit me, it's those dark eartips >o>

Ok, I know everyone is saying this pup is Saikiyo's, but here me out.


Pet's name: Solloby?

This pup right here matches all of Solloby's hints, and I don't think there is another pet with its little 'trait'

My dog is pretty easy to figure out compared to my previous year dogs as some things I just like doing similar

If you look at her some dogs she does you can notice that they have a different color and the very bottom of their feet.

There are more recent ones but I don't want to flood you with examples.

My staff dog this year has at least one thing in common with or similar to each of my past staff pets

These are her previous staff dogs: 2011 2012 2013

Ok so I noticed two things:
- they all have that little sliver of different color on the bottom of their feet and
- up into 2013 they all had edited tails. But 2013 still had line edits.

The dog I think is Solloby's follows all of these similar things (Line Edits and Feet marking) Call it a coincidence but I'm pretty confident this dog is hers.

Thoughts?

The bottom-of-the feet thing could mean it's the same person.
But line edits are common in the multistaff litters. If you look at the latest years a vast majority have some sort of lineart edit (though some are small like the ear and tounge on these dogs:

i do believe there are in fact three left, with 28 participants and 25 pets thus far.

If vampiric's pup has already grown, the only possibilities are the rose pup and the one with it's eyes closed from today, because they are the only one with closed eyes.

Did vampy say that hers has closed eyes and has already grown?

I feel like hers hasn't grown yet tbh.

Yeah, part of me doesn't think so either; her staff pup usually grows late, if the other years are any indication. If it has grown, I'm betting on this pup being hers.

I know its not the only one with closed eyes at this point, but I see the forehead marking as third eye, therefore "As these eyes close, others open" fits, because the pup's regular vision is closed, but they can see the mysteries of the universe with their third eye open. if my theory is even correct, after all.

Edit: I don't know if she said it had already grown. If she did, my theory still stand that its this pup!
