Matt thought for a minute, considering the idea. "I don't know, maybe. It's not like I ever thought
I'd be doing it either. It just sort of happened.. girls have a way of conning you into doing things you
would never do otherwise," he said, rolling his eyes. Not that that relationship ever worked out anyway;
even after the kids were in their cabins and in bed, it was hard for them to get some alone time, and
then summer ended before they both knew it and they didn't know a single thing about each other.
"I can still see myself going back, it gave me something to do for a couple weeks."

"Doll, did you do anything this summer?" he said, cocking his head slightly to one side. "Go anywhere
new, meet anyone special; or vise versa?" he asked, his stomach jumping at the thought of her
meeting another boy.

Doll looks up at Matt upon hearing her nickname, shrugging slightly at his questions. "I had to stay home to take care of Boo... He gets sad when we have to leave him home alone so I didn't want to leave..." She explains, playing with the ends of her sweater as she started thinking about the few other things she did over the summer. "Mom did have some people from work over a few times and they brought their son over with them, his name's Tyler and he's going to our schookt his year..." The blonde trails off with another little innocent shrug, looking up at him with her wide blue eyes.

Harley was looking down as he walked and listened to them, raising an eyebrow to himself at the mention of Tyler. He knew Matt had a thing for Doll, and he honestly thought they were adorable together. So this wasn't exactly good news to him either, as his OTP was kind of in trouble.

Uncomfortable, Matt nodded to his friend's answer. He couldn't help the disappointment that covered his
face, and his eyes lowered to his feet as he walked. "Mm, that's nice," he said, emotion a bit absent from
his voice. "Is he? Nice, I mean," he asked, concerned. If he wasn't nice, he'd feel bad. Doll would have
been stuck in a house with someone she didn't like, which wasn't fair. If he was nice, it meant bad news
for him. He scratched his arm, biting his lip and thinking about what he was like. If I wasn't so nervous
I could just ask her out myself.. he thought. But he was nervous, especially when it came to Doll.

Doll tilts her head to the side, still looking up at Matt curiously because he seemed... Off... Now that she had brought up Tyler. "Yeah, but he didn't really talk to me much. He was nervous I think, I don't know why..." She says, still wonder why Matt seemed so unhappy all of a sudden but of course she wasn't going to just ask him. She never asked her friends why they were upset, she just sort of hovered and tried to be comforting. "What's wrong? You got all... Not you." The blonde finally asks, which was rare for her but this was Matt after all and if there was anyone she didn't want to be sad it was him... He was such a happy person...

His eyes went wide when as she sat on him and he nodded slowly. "Um...o-okay. I guess I'll go." He decided, looking back at Harley then at Sierrn. "You're sitting on me." He stated, then mentally hit himself. Duh stupid that's kind of obvious. He thought and quickly corrected himself. "I mean...I guess we should go, don't want to keep them waiting." He didn't say who 'they' were but Harley said he'd take care of it so he relaxed a little.

He took her hand and got up, reaching forward randomly and brushing some hair out of her face. He looked back over at the others, from Matt to Doll and back. "Just ask her." He said then grabbed his backpack and dug through it like nothing had happened. He found a purple Crayon and snapped it, mumbling. "Red and blue make purple..." He glanced back at the others then started walking in the direction of school. "Let's go beat up people."

He stopped and faced him. "How do you stop a bully? A man with ill intent will not consider reason and asking for help is seen as weakness and will make the bully more intent on his victim. So all you gotta do is walk up-" He went up to Harley, his expression obviously zoned out. "And give 'em a bloody nose to think about." He finished, blowing in Harley's face before turning and walking off again. "Though on the other hand...an angry snake won't stand by while getting hit by a stick, it'll probably strike back."

Shaking his head, Matt whispered, "It's not as easy as one-two-three, Joey," and pushed away the advice.
He knew that he had to ask her out, but it never seemed to be the right time. Maybe I'll ask her to
prom this year. The thought of them dancing, her in a dress, him in a matching suit was pleasing. He
could almost imagine the slow song in the background, or possibly fast, everyone having fun. But what
if she says no? "Don't worry about it, Dolly," he said, offering a reassuring smile. "I'm just thinking is
all." Soon, the group approached the building that some would label as school and others would label as
prison. Matt was beginning to think that maybe they both went hand-in-hand.

His mind averted to the conversation Joey and Harley were having, intrigued. He raised an eyebrow,
seemingly amused. "But what if that stick is laced in poison?" he countered, hypothetically, of course.
