Harley glanced at Jonas and sighed. "It'll be okay, man. Just... don't get sick on any of us. You know I'll kick anybody's butt who hurts you." He declared, smirking before digging his hands into his pockets self-consciously. You can't exactly help a bullied kid when you're bullied yourself. But he's kind of the leader, so he feels obligated to do so anyway.

His eyes went wide when as she sat on him and he nodded slowly. "Um...o-okay. I guess I'll go." He decided, looking back at Harley then at Sierrn. "You're sitting on me." He stated, then mentally hit himself. Duh stupid that's kind of obvious. He thought and quickly corrected himself. "I mean...I guess we should go, don't want to keep them waiting." He didn't say who 'they' were but Harley said he'd take care of it so he relaxed a little.

"School is probably a good idea. If we don't get there on time they'll call home, and I could do without the wrath
of God and woman-of-the-hour," he said anxiously, rocking back and forth on his heels as he waited for the others
to stand up and follow suit. He stuck his hands in his pockets, a light breeze barely tickling the back of his neck.
He wondered if there would be any new students in the school, or if anyone had left. It seems every year there's
at least five changes.

Looking over to Doll, Matt offered a toothy grin. The two were very opposite in nature, but maybe that's why he
felt so keen to offer her a kind smile and nice gesture; they'd all been friends for a while. He addressed the rest
of the group, "Hey, man, you just gotta remember that what they say doesn't matter in the long run. Focus on
what you want and how you're gonna get it. These kids in high school aren't gonna matter when you're getting
handed a medal of honor from the president of the United States."

Rose phone buzzed in her pocket and she answered it, stepping slightly away from the group. She sighed a little inside as it was another boy asking her out. She loved the attention but it was from the wrong boy. She shrugged, and accepted his offer of coffee after school. She turned back to the group smiling, she was a little excited now. "Come on guys are we going or what!"

Doll chews on her lower lip, deciding to stay seated on the grass despite Rose's wanting that they really needed to get going. She picked at the gras that had bee dropped into her lap, dropping it piece by piece onto the ground at her side. She really didn't want to go yet, so she decided to just stall the rest of them too. "I don't want to get up yet, school can wait a little longer." Her voice stayed as low as ever while she pouted barely enough to be heard over all the chatter of everyone else. The blonde looked up at Matt, hoping that he could convince the others to wait just a little bit longer; he was her go-to for these sorts of things, he always caved first when she put on a pout and tended to convince the others to do as she wanted.

Harley sighed as he saw Rose check her phone. "Another guy?" He thought aloud, but scolded himself immediately after. He glanced down to where Doll was and decided to change the subject quickly. "No, we seriously have to go. I have ROTC first period and... I don't wanna do pushups, okay?" He said, placing a hand on the back of his sore neck.

Doll sighs softly, brushing the rest off the grass off her lap with the sleeve of her sweater. "Alright, Harley..." She mumbles, hiding behind her hair as she pulls herself up off the ground because obviously there was going to be no more stalling their need to head to school. "How much did they make you do this summer? You seem sore..." The blonde adds, looking up at Harley because he was so much taller than her... Everyone was taller of course, she was tiny after all, but it seemed that the boys had sprung up even more over the summer even though she'd seen them nearly everyday.

Harley shook his head and looked at her. "Well that's 'cause I am sore." He remarked, sighing. "2,000 pushups a day, 3 miles, and kickboxing." He informed, hanging his head slightly as he and the others started walking. "I stood in formation all day yesterday." He complained. He suddenly realized how annoying and whiny he sounded and pinched himself discreetly.

It was tempting to just stay in the park all day, and he was about to open his mouth to speak when Harley
spoke his own mind. Matt nodded, understanding what Harley was saying and agreed, "As much as I want to
stay here and just hang out, it's the first day! There's new opportunities.." he trailed off, thinking about
college and getting a job that wasn't being a summer camp chaperone. He was ready to be something bigger.
"I haven't looked at my schedule in a while, but I think my first class is environmental science," he said,
shrugging. Almost all of his required classes had been taken in the previous years, but unfortunately he still
had math classes to take; trigonometry and pre-calculus. His mind hurt just thinking about straining himself
to understand the incomparable math problems.

Matt looked over at Harley, who was giving the details of his class. "At least it's kickboxing. You could be
watching over middle schoolers and underclassmen all summer. Being held liable for those guys is stressful,
something bad happens and their parents threaten to sue you for everything you're worth!" he shook his
head, thinking back to the kid who fell out of a tire swing the first day of camp and broke his arm.
"Harley, hopefully what you're doing is going to feel like nothing soon. Two thousand is harsh, though."

Harley glared at him slightly. "Do I seem like the type of person who'd like to teach underclassmen?" He asked, his mind also straying to his math class. He shuddered slightly at the thought of it. 2,000 pushups he can do. It's hard, but he can do it. However, ask him anything about triangles and he goes completely blank. He's always passed all of his classes with fairly high grades, except for math. That one's still a no.
