While it is a rare genetic mutation, it is still a coat variation existing in the world. If it was because of rare genetic mutation, then the Munchkin cat would never be considered a natural fursona if someone where to have one. Many breeds of animals and dogs, and some coat coloration on even wild animals, are the result of some faulty genetic mutation, yet they are 'natural', so I see no reason to dismiss them.

Hi guys, I just like to let you know that I'd like to resign from your club. I'm sorry to say that I don't think the new design for my fursona falls into this any more. I have to many unnatural markings now. So you may take me off the list.
