He laid there, breathing heavily, as he tried to catch his breath. Yes, that fox was a mere cub. But here came it's mother. It let out an eerry snarl and pounced on him, soaking blood into his thick black fur. Snarling, he reared and leaped a top of the fox, slamming it's head down as far as possible, sending it in shock. Tail curled over a leg, it stormed away with it's cub. Blood covered the white patches on his pelt as he fell sideways again, this time, eyes closed and breathing very slowly, but not to a point where he would die.
