Physical Description: Juno is most easily recognized not by the usually combed back, hazel brown hair a top his head, but the piercing gray eyes that shoot through people all the time, everywhere. He stands at 6ft exactly and looking down on people does bring him a great deal of joy. He has a large scar near his throat that was carved into his calloused skin during battle, but doesn't speak much about it. (Sorry about the fake looking scar, I just had to get it in somewhere so I manipulated it. ;X)

Name: Juno Smorden (born Kiptyn Keenan)

Age: 22

Gender: Male

History: Kiptyn grew up with his dad and his dad only. His mom had died at childbirth, and he'd never known the tender warmth of having a mother. His father was a good man- strong and agile, quick witted but with an anger issue, a trait Kiptyn picked up for himself. He did do everything he could possibly do treat and raise Kiptyn properly. They both lived a fine life together, and his father always filled up the empty space in Kiptyn's heart. He went to school like any other boy would, working hard to live up to all expectations. He lived for the little moments in time where his father gave him a firm pat on the shoulder, whispering a soothing and hope-bringing, "Good job, Kip."

Unfortunately, at age 10, his father died due to a horrible murder that he knew nothing, and continues to know nothing about, and Kiptyn, weary and emotionally torn, went on to live with his Aunt Lucia. Lucia was such a bizarre woman, he'd always tell himself. Oh, that Lucia! Always telling him strange and mysterious stories that never clicked together. She was superstitious and would commit herself to the most awkward things, warning him about matters that belonged only in the head of the insane. Lucia started calling him Juno, after her deceased son who died at age 5 because of an... accident, and the name stuck onto him. At 12, his name was changed to Juno Smorden, and Lucia became his legal guardian. That was also when Lucia started training him in the ways of bloodlettering. Why? Juno hadn't a single clue. All he knew was that he would have to learn to kill and learn it properly. It brought him immense satisfaction though, because suddenly, a part of him that he hadn't suspected but had quickly recognized grasped onto the very idea of destruction and never let it go because it filled him with strong purpose.

During the war, he joined in when he was 14, a strong, ruthless Bloodletter that was always on the very edge, grasping tightly onto his fading life. (Lucia couldn't support him much longer anyways- she had taught him all he needed to know and was struggling with her self alone. It wasn't an easy task, raising a boy to be a war machine.) Juno lost several of his good comrades- the few people he had ever come to know- in combat, and from that moment on, he vowed to conquer all the obscenities in his waking life, including the scum that were scattered across the fine land that was Earth. Inside, another oath was taken. The scar across his neck was earned while quarreling with his best friend in history, James. Juno didn't have any idea who they were fighting about or why, but it was definitely not a pleasant occasion. Overhead was a starless, opaque sky of absolutely nothing but the ink of the night, along with a dim streetlight hanging above their heads. There is a clear recollection of the incident and it plays again and again every time Juno's head rests in his hands. He fought, and that was all that anybody needed to know. The oath? Trust nobody but yourself.

Personality: Juno has a questionable past and an uncertain future. All he does is fight and slaughter with not a single drop of mercy. For the most part, he is a sharp and hard flint that no steel has struck generous fire on, having no faith and believing in nothing but himself, all the while basing everything on what he has come to know. He prefers to use his mind over his heart (Logic over emotion) and never sugar coats anything, living the straight forward life he's always had. ("You mom is dead. Get over it.") Juno's entire being is built on the simple motto "Do things and move on," because it was utterly effortless.

He does crack open sometimes. It doesn't happen very often, but inside, Juno just wants to be the sympathetic hero in a world without heroes. Although it may be this way, he would rather fight back the emotions, as he feels they only bring him down. Juno never takes defeat and failure kindly, just like his father, and refuses to lose in anything- always wanting to be on top. After all, what was your purpose in life if you weren't the best? Exactly. There was absolutely nothing. The satisfaction of standing on the top of the hill had always been his only true drive and inspiration. Just because he is an 'angry' man doesn't mean he won't speak up when he has something to say. Quite frankly, Juno enjoys barking at people whenever he has the chance, because in a snapshot, there is nothing better than being on top. He is ferocious fighter, physically and verbally, and can definitely take a hit in the gut. For him, there is nothing worse but having to work in a group, and will only do so after heavy persuasion.

Staring at the trains that speed by, leaving trails of black, toxic smog, Juno often wonders what his life would be if his mother had survived. Perhaps he wouldn't have became a soldier, unsure why he was fighting or who he was fighting for. It couldn't be freedom, dignity or integrity, because he had lost all those factors long ago.

Other: He lost his right leg (Infection) in the war and it is now mechanical. This may seem morbid and disgusting, but for every person he assassinates, he etches, in his tiny disarray of script, the initials K. K. into the skin on their backs.
