There was a little bird who couldn't fly,
because he couldn't see.

But the springs would sing songs of the
days, and the little bird would listen.

And as the days passed and the night
came, the moon would glow brighter.

The tree that guarded the forest grew
taller and taller, her flowers blooming.

As nature would sing their songs of day,
the little bird listening.

Until one day, the mother tree began
to lose its leaves.

Losing her cheery flowers as they wilted
and scattered.

As the tree wilted, a flower losing color,
the bird chirped to the song of nature.

The flowers bloomed, and the animals
danced in the shadows, moon glowing.

The bird flew.

Many popular titles are The Forest Guardian, in some fables, or the Father Tree.
His name is Aran, which means 'forest' in Thailand.
However, his real first name is Kanoni, 'little bird' in African.
In many stories, he is given the name Little Bird and takes the appearance of a brown, small bird with white markings, and a blue-tail (see lower left art piece).

He was first sighted on September 2, during the night, and many believe this is his birthdate.

Aran is male and responses to male pronouns.
However, his age remains a mystery. He appears to be twenty though.

Aran is heterosexual, or straight. His preferred type is the opposite gender.

Aran's talent is basically anything related to nature.
Plants tend to blossom around him, and animals have the tendency to follow him.
It is unknown as to how this happens, but many believe it is caused by the white orbs sparkling
around him and/or the lantern he carries.

Aran has a bird companion that tends to follow him everywhere, even since he was born.
She is a female, Northern Cardinal, named Rinne, who's name means 'spring' in German.
Rinne is known to be a hotheaded, but wise and outgoing companion of Aran's.

ＴＨＥ ＳＭＡＬＬ ＳＥＥＤ,

Aran stands only a little bit taller than the average Plumerian, which is one of his distinguishing features.

He has brown fur, with markings of a darker shade. He also has flower-like, green markings that tend to glow, with a set of light green pads and ear tufts. His eyes are a crystalline blue, that match his feather. They tend to attract butterflies and fireflies more, instead of moths. Aran has white, feathery wings, which do give him the ability to fly, but for a short while.

There are milky white, transparent orbs that tend to float and surround him, giving a bright and sparkly effect. One unusual trait of Aran's is that he has antlers, which appear very wood-like although they are not. He has strings with small leaves tied to them, surrounding his antlers, forelegs, wings, and tail.

His feathers are another one of his distinguishing features. The blue color scheme that it follows stands out of his earthy colors, three different shades of blue that match his crystalline blue eyes.

Aran always seen with his lantern, a black and grey lantern with a green, swirly, bright orb inside.

ＴＨＥ ＬＩＴＴＬＥ ＢＩＲＤ'Ｓ ＳＴＯＲＹ


"It's time..isn't it..?"
The white deer mutters as she watches the sky, stars shining brightly as if replying to her question.
With a nod, her silver eyes gaze to see a trio come into view, a white-and-back raccoon, followed by a
small bird, specifically a Northern Cardinal, flapping her wings wildly about as a small plumerian stands
behind them, a red scarf flowing in the wind.
"Susan! Oh goodness me," The little bird flaps her wings as she lands in front of her deer friend, waving
her wings wildly, "I'm fine, Rinne." Acknowledging her bird companion with a nod, she turns to look at a
large and quiet raccoon, "And Stripe, it's been a long time," Susan smiles at Stripe, who greets her with
a nod. As her silver eyes fall upon the dark brown plumerian, his blue eyes glowing in the dark. "Hello,
Kanoni. I've heard a lot about you," Kanoni's head lifts to the sound of her voice, then opens his mouth,
"Hello," He replies, as Susan lets out a quiet sigh.
"Do you know why you're here?"
She asks calmly as Rinne and Stripe move away, taking their place behind a mossy log and watch. With
a deep breath, Kanoni nods, and stumbles forward a bit. "Yes.." He mumbles a bit quietly as he shifts a
bit. With a satisfied nod, Susan lifts her head and speaks loudly.
"I've served this forest for a long time now, and it's time for someone to take my place.
I, Susan the White Deer, will now pass on the duty to this little one, Kanoni, who, from
now on, be known as, Aran the Forest Guardian."
The breeze blows lightly as a golden light surrounds the pair, as Stripe and Rinne watch in awe.
Then, it's quiet for a little, as a winged Plumerian stands in front of the large tree, with strings wrapped
around his body with little leaves tied to it. The green, floral markings glow brightly, as he opens his icy,
blue eyes.

ＹＥＡＲＳ ＬＡＴＥＲ...

Not much is known about his past, but there have been photographs found in an old house located near
a forest that match his appearance. According to the ones who have collected and studied the photos,
it seems that it was taken some time in the 90s. It seems that Aran lived with an older plumerian, with
a red scarf that was always around her neck. It is still unknown if she was the mother of Aran, but many
speculate that she was Aran's older sister due to her cheery and youthful looks. There are some photos
of Aran with another she-Plumerian, possibly a friend of Aran's.

The photographs are the only things collected from the house, due to a quite feisty raccoon that seems
to guard the house from any trespassers.
