mark my words, it's connected to you, that's for sure

are you hiding behind a glass wall for now? we know it has something to do with you one way or the other. your hints of endangered birds, the eye color, the fact that it is the focus of your signature; it all ties together. but you insist on keeping quiet about its designer.

which leads me to this question... do you have a conspirator? you enjoy playing these mind games with us; what better motive than that to get a close friend to design their pup for you to use as a distraction? it may very well be yoyce, who traded you the pet and whom you mentioned in your little speech.

i suppose we'll see in time, when all is revealed. but remember, bel; we're onto you already. there's no need for coyness any longer.

Ahem. Because I am a roleplay moderator, I feel this appropriate...
Please. Enjoy.

"The crowd of people gathered around the press area was causing a cacophony, Bel mused as she massaged her temples with her index fingers. All the voices crowding her brains as they really asked if Floogle was in fact a designer breed made completely by her. Pushing her glasses up on her nose, she adjusted her nifty blazer as she took a deep breath, reading herself for the ensuing chaos. Such a big announcement had her nerves on end as she prepared to give her statement. This was her first conference, so it was only natural for her to have the jitters. Of course, she could not just march up whenever she was ready. No, she had to wait for a friend to bring the star of the show to go out with her.
As if hearing Bel's call telepathically, Yoyce bounced over with Floogle in his carrier. The uniquely colored pup looked out from the pet carrier they were keeping him in. It kept such a beautiful animal out of the prying eyes of all his undying fans. 'Almost ready Floogs?', Bel asked as she wiggled her fingers through the mesh to let him lick them. Not being able to stand him in the pet carrier, she grabbed his leash from where it was tied at the top, and opened the latch. Taking out the happy little pup, both Bel and Yoyce laugh as he licked both of their faces with excitement. "Oh yeah, he's ready," Bel commented after receiving Floogle's warm reception.
'Miss Racat, you are on in two," one of the ushers said as they gently began to herd her and the pup in her arms towards the podium. With a good luck rub to the puppies head, she took a deep breath and began to walk towards the podium.
The crowd fell silent as she did so, anticipation thick in the air. Floogle sensed it, becoming nervous at the change in tone. As Bel got to the podium, she adjusted the bottom of her blazer one more time. Looking up at the crowds around her, she felt that familiar butterfly feeling in her stomach. The many microphones attached the podium pointed at her, in her face, seeming to pick up every little breath. Steeling her reserve though, she leaned in and spoke into the sound devices.
"In regards to the recent questions if Floogle is indeed a designer breed by Bel Racat...."
The crowed seemed to be all holding their breath. Bel waited a few moments, pausing as she collected her words...
"No comment. Thank you."
And with that, the tall girl and her faithful little friend walked off the stage to the sounds of angry shouts and frustrated sighs.

I rather enjoyed reading this. ^-^ Good tease by the way!
