Briar

Looking around he saw an area that was more grass than forest of swamp. He remember he foster mother teaching him that rabbits liked the plains. He quietly stalked over the the grassy clearing making sure to not step on twigs or dry leaves.

Nightwhisker stalked from the bushes, crouching down in the grass, following Briar, making sure to try and keep his grey fur unnoticed. He'd play a little trick on the tom. He grabbed a stick in his jaws and waited.

He picked up a faint scent of a rabbit. All of the sudden it started pouring. The scent he had barely picked up faded away in the rain. He could still find it though. Lifting his head out of the grass he could see a tiny dot in the distance. Yes! He thought. There's the burrow. he started to quietly move through the grass towards the burrow.

He still waited padding forward a bit, till he could see the burrow then set the stick on the ground, brushing his paw against it then pushed down on it and loud crack broke through the air.

Ash star padded out of his den and followed Briars scent. He lay in a bush, watching Briar hunt. He heard a cracking sound and sighed. "Yep, he's failed." He sighed

Peachpaw walked at the forest when she surrently saw Nightwhisker hiding into the bush. She twisted her ears and got his back "What are you doing?" she meowed looking at the warrior

Aquastep catched a other mouse and desiced to bring them to camp.

NIghtwhisker-He turned his head and purred,"Nothing, why?"there was a cracked stick under his paw. He made it break so that Briar would fail and wouldn;t be able to join the clan.

Briar

When he heard the loud crack he looked around a little confused. He shrugged, the rabbit was most likely already in the burrow anyways because of the rain. Well he didn't exactly need to sneak now. He launched through the pushing off his hind legs and dashed towards the burrow.
