Heeeeyyy. ;w; Ok, so reading over all the suggestions and everything, and I took note of ones quite helpful or stood a bit out to me.
Roleplays:I am absolutely horrible with making roleplay prompts and such, so I'm bad at this. However, I have wanted to for a long time finally release the island where parrapups came from. It has a huge tree in the middle which is the central parrapup metropolis. But then I was like, "Maybe I should make a story about the rediscovery first" and then I had all these cool ideas I wanted to dooo. However this all comes later.
Games and Events:I do not own flash so I can't make games like that. ;w; If you guys would like to suggest games that can start happening, that would be cool. Currency is being worked on, we'll need a banker, and then I'm hoping to have a shop that will be restocked every weekend or monthly? That might keep sales from booming too much. The MYO egg event really picked up parrapups on their feet and got us a running start, so I plan on doing something fun like this in the future. I would love to do an owners event on the side, maybe one to fight over eggs or something, but mods will have to be decided for this.
Staff:I don't know how many have read/heard about this, but it is a thing and I really hope to hold one soon:
What is the Open House?
- Open House is when the Parrapup Adoptables are in need of plenty of staff members, so we have an Open House displaying all of the positions we need, or you can offer where you can help, or what you can do!
Though we haven't had one yet, every now and again I'll mention something and someone will pm me. Such as Serge is basically our official pixel artist (Still needs some business!) because I mentioned I got very worn out and tired doing them. I dropped them mainly for the fact that I don't want parras to be a hassle for me to do. owo If an owner doesn't like their own species, how can anyone else? However, a big thing with the mods is that I will be requiring, yes
requiring, Skype accounts. This is mainly for the fact I want you to be able to quick contact me about questions since I know I don't have all my duckies in a line, and I don't have everything written down.
More/less wolf Parras:Actually, these really concerned me in general! As soon as we had a few, they were quickly thrown in to breed which produced even more. Not only this, but we finally quelled the heterochromia issue (which btw, if you don't know, causes a parrapup to have horrible vision issues.) I have loosened up on my artists a lot on what they can edit, mostly for the fact I trust most of them to not create parras with strange powers now. Big changes have been that I now allow changed sclera color to work with designs, I'm debating the usage of glowing markings and eyes (this is to be voted on after I completely figure out the rationality of the situation and how it could be possible to happen) though it will be required artists send designs beforehand to me on them, and especially how I select my artists. Artists are basically selected on how diverse designs are that they make and their color usage. I want to see they can work with huge ranges of colors as well as make cool designs to go along with. I see in a lot of species where they have really pretty designs, but then they have gradiented markings on top which don't look very normal, or fitting, on the design itself. We want our parras to look as natural as possible when it comes to their colors flowing together.
Too many fan based parrasI have no problem with parras based upon fandoms for many many reasons. My biggest is because I don't know any of these fandoms, but I can still appreciate the designs! owo Fandom parras are a great way of a non owner finding themselves a parra. If they invest a little time in to figuring out a little on the fandom as well as who the character is, you can win yourself a nice parra and they usually have such cute edits. I prefer when the parra does not share the same personality with the original character, but this may just be me. I actually won my only Kiamara, Bob from Animal Crossing, but I really didn't know much about the character. I spent a roundabout of two days studying up on Bob and a bit on Animal Crossing, and found myself really liking him, but I wanted Bob to be just a bit different since he wasn't the same character. (This means nothing about me and kiamaras, I merely wanted to use myself as an example. =w= I have found faults in all species I have watched, and I have introduced new ideas all over the place because of it.)
There will be some things I'm working on this weekend, and I think I have a set end date for 100 soon. Also, please don't send me messages about what 200 should be, I love the suggestions, but I honestly make the parra based upon the time of the year they come out if I don't have an idea of a parra that will be needed. (Btw, owners of special parras may be able to hold a mini event or an annual full event based around the time they win their parra. This isn't an idea set in stone, but I think it would be cool for Halloween themed parras as well as other holidays.)
