Sura walked back to the den, refreshed from her drink. But something was different. There was no smell of fresh pups. She ran back to her den to find . . . . the pups gone. She howled, letting the rest of the pack know something had happened. Sura was frantic. She ran to camp, waiting for the others to arrive.

Midnight decided to check on Kalika for her hunting skills since he wasn't able to find any prey. Searching for a little while, he finally arrived at her presence along with Roya next to her. He decided to watch and see what the she-wolves would do with their strategy knowledge. Trying to be unseen, Midnight quietly padded away into the thick trees.

-Wolfie padded back to camp, racing quickly. He arrived back at camp very soon. He spotted Sura.-
"What's wrong?" -Wolfie asked, fusterated.- "You're waking up all the prey." -He said.-

Kalika scanned the dense forest, focusing her eyes and ears to the sounds of prey. Nearby, she could hear the careless thrashing of leaves by a buck---that would be too difficult to kill, she decided. She stayed low to the ground, transfixed by the lullaby of sounds of wildlife. Her ears perked forward further, catching the sounds of a nearby fawn and doe.

Sura cantered to camp, their special meeting place. No one had arrived yet. Sura howled once more to let the rest of the pack know that they needed to come to camp.

(I hope this wasn't out of line to have this, but we can't just sit around RP-ing about hunting all day! lol. JK)

[[I know. Wolfie was talking to you though. ]]
-Wolfie's ear twitched.-
"WHAT IS IT ALREADY!?" -He shouted while she howled, hoping she would hear him.-

Midnight heard Sura's howling cry and dug out of the shadows to get back to camp. He broke into a sprint as he got closer, 'What was all the fuss about?' he thought curiously. He caressed forwards and stood next to her, "What's the matter?" His eyes were filled with concern.

Something terrible. Sura replied. I woke up this morning and all the pups were still asleep. So I decided to get a drink from the river. I was only gone a few minutes, but when I came back the pups were gone! I have no clue where they are, so don't even ask. Sura said, gasping for breath. She was obviously in a state of panic and had no clue what to do.

When Sura had howled, the noise had scared off Lusa's prey. With nothing else to do, she'd run back to camp to se what was the matter. Pups didn't mean much to her, but she knew what they must mean for a mother. She hated seeing someone in the camp so sad, and she would have started searching right then and there, had she not been waiting for Midnight to give the word. Her tongue lolled out of her mouth, her excitement coming out in quick, hard pants.
