He shrugged, finishing cleaning as his shift ended and he grabbed his stuff. "Well, I hope it gets better." He said and offered her a smile. "And if you ever feel really down I'm here five days a week, same time." He added. He got Renee's text and answered. Im on my way now.

She nods. "Thanks." She says, shrugging. She hadn't talked to anybody all day, and she didn't expect this to happen.

He waved goodbye to Jill and the girl and headed out, jogging home. He was glad it was really close and he could just walk every day or take his skateboard. He arrived at the apartment and opened the door, tossing his stuff to the side with a tired sigh. "Hey babe I'm back." He called, running a hand through his hair.

She walks out, finishing her coffee. She's on her phone again, sighing.

Kat walks home, opening the door to her empty house. It was lonely until her cat Barney came up to her, purring. Kat smiles, petting him.

Renee slowly got up and went out to him. She smiled a bit."how was work?"

He had to take a moment to catch his breath then gave her a quick kiss. "Tiring, but it'll be better today was more physical."
