Hessie walked into the main hallway of lockers. She noticed all of the different skin colors of the newbies. This was the first year that they allowed teens from other galaxies walk the halls. She had some friends, not even close to a bestie though. She sighed at the thought of that. She looked around, saw a mixed color of reds, blues, greens, purples, yellows, and the occasional pink auras and heard the babble of thoughts in her head.

Nat walked from class to class, listening to the teachers drone on about things that nobody really cared about, or cared to listen to.The kids had their cliques, their gossip, their...whatever. Just like normal kids. Okay, sure, the cliques, rather than being different stereotypes (goth, nerd, prep, etc.) were usually based on which planet they were from, or which powers they had. The gossip was about the normal stuff, with a few changes here and there. For instance, "Did you hear about that fight between Joe and Billy? Joe got the biggest black eye!" would become "Did you hear about that fight between Joe and Billy? Joe broke his leg in 4 places!" Okay... it was pretty different. You had to be careful with the kids here, they were dangerous. Not all of them, though. There were plenty of nice people. She looked around at all the new faces. This would be an interesting year.
