Ella knew that they always told her to stick to her guns. That when you chastized a naughty child not to give in to the first tear. She knew it was bad practice if you REALLY wanted someone to learn their lesson.
But watching Matt drop from king of the mountain so fast made her gut wrench and her heart ache. She tried to stay strong, to reenforce her steadfastness about the manner. She just couldn't; she couldn't feel good about herself until she apologized and cuddled up to him as if to ask if he still liked her.
So with a heavy sigh, she took a few steps over and wrapped her arms around him. Locking her fingers in the back, she buried her face in his chest and groaned.
Why did she have to be so tender and caring?
"Matt..." She pushed out. "You are practically unbearable sometimes. Half the time I have no idea what you're so upset about, and you'd never tell me if something were wrong. But I'd be lying if I said it made me like you any less." She squeezed just a little bit tighter. "I don't know why other people around me threaten you, but could you maybe relax and see something for me? If I didn't want to be right here, holding onto you for dear life, I would have gone by now. So if you're thinking that I'm going to find someone better, and leave you, stop thinking that. But I don't know; I never know what's running through your brain. I can't do anything unless you talk to me."

Aqua smiled gently. "You never smile..." She explained quietly. 'I like your smile...' She thought, not even daring to say it out loud.

Shaking her head, Charlotte glanced at Vladimir - she couldn't deny that she was somewhat nervous to activate him, but she was sure it would be fine. "No, I'm not busy... And okay," she said quietly, giving herself a moment to think about which mode she wanted him to be in. The thought of blood made her want to cringe, but it would be a bit more... interesting if he was in his vampire mode. "Vampire mode, I guess," she said.

The boy then flinched as he felt something on his back and looked over his shoulder to the old man, who soon hobbled back out and looked to the girl. "Vlad, this nice lady will be taking you home - don't be too mean to her and play tricks, you hear?" the old man chuckled, getting a smile from the Romanian before the boy looked to Charlotte. 'and what may i be calling you?" the boy asked to Charlotte, the old man staying where he was.

Charlotte stood there nervously, before reaching into her sweatshirt pocket and twiddling her thumbs in the confinement of her pocket. Watching as Vladimir stretched and rubbed his eyes, she took a small step back, her small bag of groceries hanging from her wrist. Blushing lightly out of pure shyness, she tried to make eye contact with him, but she failed miserably and immediately looked downwards at her feet. "Y-You can call me either Charlotte or Vanessa..." she said quietly, hesitantly lifting her hazel gaze upwards.

Aqua nodded slowly letting it all sink into her brain. "It does make sense. I'll just keep smiling myself. I feel too sad without smiling." She explained.
