- Sai would have to say New Year's is his favorite holiday. In Japan it is one of the biggest holidays of the year. Before New Years Day, he always throws a bonenkai - a year forgetting party - to end the previous year so that the new one can begin completely fresh. Sai is a workaholic and this is the one time of year where he is actually forced to take some days off, so he enjoys spending it with his family. Also, his mate Enero's birthday falls on New Year's Day, and he has a lot of fun challenging himself to buy thoughtful gifts.
Enero on the other hand would definitely say that Christmas is his favorite holiday. Sai never really celebrated Christmas before they met, so Enero makes a big deal of creating a very traditional Western Christmas celebration that lasts nearly the entire month of December. They decorate the Christmas tree together, Enero sings songs and tries to get Sai to sing along, and he spends stupid amounts of money showering Sai in presents. Now that they have children, Enero is excited for their first Christmas of spoiling their little ones. Christmas will probably end up being their favorite holiday as well.
Gamble also likes Christmas, but for other reasons. He loves how the Christmas spirit brings people together.
Personally, my favorite holiday is probably Labor Day weekend, but that's because I always have off work and there's a huge convention called Dragon Con that I go to every year. So really it doesn't have anything to do with the holiday.

Right now the twins are still very young but Suigetsu would be "quiet" and Mizuho would be "curious," although there's no telling how their personalities will continue to develop
- I immediately thing of the changes in nature. In spring, the flowers bloom and the trees become green again. In autumn, the leaves turn beautiful reds, golds, and browns. Then the leaves fall and the trees are barren, although I love to step on the leaves and hear them crunch.
- Sai has dozens of quirks. He's pretty peculiar for a makoatl. One quirk of Sai's that I find cute is he has developed the typical Japanese sense of personal space and dislikes to be hugged and touched a lot in public, but in private when no one else is looking he is actually even more clingy, cuddly, and desperate for physical attention than Enero is! He won't even let Enero hug him in public, but when they are in the privacy of their home Sai never leaves his side. Another big quirk of Sai's is that is has an obsession with order and cleanliness - he can't stand to see something a mess; he is always calm and collected but this is one thing that can make him lose his temper. His collection of collars and hairpins is organized by season and mood, and the order of this collection is one thing he is particularly obsessive over. Yet another quirk is that Sai is obsessed with arriving to things precisely on time. He hates being even one minute late or one minute early to an event.
Enero's quirks tend to stem from his impulsive personality. He frequently interrupts people and takes over the conversation. He is also almost always unable to turn down a bet. He will accept any bet readily. He also is very willing to accept dares, even the craziest ones. This behavior drives his mate crazy. Another quirk of Enero's is that he loves dirty jokes, and sometimes even in public he will lean in and make dirty jokes in Sai's ear, which absolutely infuriates Sai because Sai believes in being respectful and decent in public.
Gamble's most noteworthy quirk is his inability to sit still, which is something he's had ever since he was a child. Even when he is sitting, he is always fidgeting. This has always driven Sai crazy. When they go to lunch or dinner together, Gamble taps the silverware, spins his plate, bounces in his chair. He can't focus on being still at all. It takes him a very, very long time to relax and fall asleep at night because he can't stop thinking about things and tossing and turning. It drives him crazy to be lying there doing nothing. Frequently, he stays up entertaining himself until the point where he can't even stand anymore, and he tends to collapse on his bed or couch and pass out for the night. Gamble is also a makoatl that generally refuses to curse - when he does say a bad word you know he really, really is angry. Another quirk of Gamble's that he has maintained since childhood is that he is extremely clumsy - he can't even pour a glass of water without spilling the whole pitcher. For this reason, when he goes out for meals, other people refuse to let him serve himself or an inevitable disaster will occur. People also don't like to ask for his help moving/carrying things out of fear he will drop or damage them.
- Enero is hugely inspired by music. Music is a huge passion of his. He uses upbeat music to motivate him. He tries to woo Sai with romantic songs. He believes music sets the mood for the situation, and has playlists and CDs for absolutely every occasion. Even when doing tasks like chores around the house, he listens to music to put him in a better mood while he does them.
Sai is inspired by traditional Japanese music, and to some extent the other traditional music of other Asian countries. He strongly dislikes most Western music, and he loathes modern music, J-pop especially. But when it comes to traditional, such as shamisen music, he finds it very inspirational.
Gamble and I share our feelings on music. We both enjoy music, but it's not something particularly inspiring to either of us. Gamble probably doesn't find inspiration in much of anything though.
