i can go more in depth with this but I'm on mobile and it's kinda hard for me to really analyze why I love the characters that I love and hate the ones I hate on mobile.

Son of Poseidon, one of the big three
even bigger than Hades because everyone HATED Hades because they hated death
children of the big three are supposed to suffer
and have awful lives
and even die early
what's the worst Percy has gone through?
Tartarus? Losing his memory?
I mean don't get me wrong, Tartarus is pretty
deep and dark
and crappy
but Nico has been through so much
and his dad is the LESSER of the big three
Sure Hades is the oldest but he has the lesser part of the deal
So yeah, Percy is quite Gary Sue-ish
Wouldn't say 100% because he actually has flaws and crap
but maybe like
a 90%

I do remember some people talking to radycat about how they took mary/Gary-sue tests for both Piper and Percy

Piper was most definitely scored as not a Mary Sue. Percy scored about five times the points needed to be considered a Gary-sue

I feel like Percy is a gary-sue character. I feel like he wins almost every fight, and never fails. I'm not sure if this is true though, since it's been a while since i read the books. What do you guys think ;o;??

I'm just going in order of appearance I guess. I don't really "hate" anybody (except Octavian) but I do have dislike towards some.

Percy; when I first read the books I liked him but now I'm just ehh towards him. I don't hate him. Don't like him either.

Annabeth; is fantastic.

Nico; not a favorite character but I like him I guess. He's okay.

Jason; idk I kind of like him better than Percy.

Piper; I love Piper. One of my favorite characters. I really enjoy reading chapters in her point of view.

Leo; nah nope. He seems very self centered to me and some of his jokes are/linger on the border of being hurtful. Least favorite character. When I read chapters in his POV I'm just going "why" through the whole thing. Which doesn't really make sense because he is a lot like Marco from Animorphs and I like Marco so idk.

Hazel; she is nice yes I like her. Her back story is really interesting interesting/sad too.

Frank; favorite character. I love Frank. He has the best powers.

Reyna; she's cool I like her. I'm excited for her POV.

Between reading Jurassic Park (I'm on The Lost World now heh) I've been reading Mark of Athena and I've concluded that Piper and Frank are my favorite characters. Also Clarisse for some reason I really hope she's in BOO.

I guess what he says can be a bit....eh, as you said mean but I kind of always joke so I can relate to him in that way. And he speaks Spanish! Like, yeah, me. So if I'm reading with friends they're like "What's he saying...? Why can't he speak Irish or something for a change?"
