[What the Neff]

A long time ago – I might’ve been able to stand by my brothers and feast on the same kill. The East and the West were part of a moving circle – a balance of push and pull. There was kindness and cooperation between the clans, but the time has seemed to pass. Lips are turned and teeth are shown, sinking deep into the fabric of the hearts and minds of all my brethren. The Chimera Pack – who lie within the East roamed the lands and herded the fallow deer. They are strong and swift – quick and sharp minded. Then there are the Artemis - healers, leaders, and scouts ran thick within their blood. They are kind hearted and loyal – but fierce.
When winter would come, drowning the land in white – the two packs would work together to protect the land and keep one another alive.
However Mother Nature made a turn for the worst this year. With terrible snow storms and harsh conditions produced by the weather, the wolves are unable to work together as usual, leaving us in a horrible bind. With the deer left unable to breed efficiently and starving to death with the freezing ice, hunting is nearly impossible. Wolves became ill and our ribs are protruding from ours sides.
The alpha of the Chimera Pack added extra hunts to their daily work – without alerting the Artemis Pack of their actions. In an attempt to a peaceful resolution, the Artemis pack confronted the alpha of her actions – and blood was spilled. Sides were drawn and grudges were formed. The Chimera withdrew from their way of life – helping and sharing only with each other in order to survive, leaving the Artemis empty pawed.
Some wolves say differently – but I know the truth.
I can see the common ground.

Cold hearted and power hungry, this pack will stop at nothing to claim what they believe to be theirs. They are very large and pure muscle. Fighters to the bone. The Chimera is led by a war driven Alphess. She is ruthless and a born leader. Captivating the true meaning of hate and revenge. Though they are strong willed they still work strongly as a team and take care of each others needs. They will do whatever it takes to keep their pack alive and strong.

Where did the name come from? The Chimera was, according to Greek mythology, a monstrous fire-breathing female and male creature of Lycia, composed of the parts of three animals — a lion, a snake and a goat. Usually depicted as a lion, with the head of a goat arising from its back, and a tail that ended in a snake's head, the Chimera was one of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna and a sibling of such monsters as Cerberus and the Lernaean Hydra.

Named after the god of war, murder and bloodshed. She likes to life up to her name, she has no problem getting dirty and belives that all problems can, and should be solved through violence. She is a fearsome leader but a strong one. She knows the ins and outs of her territory and runs her pack to its fullest potential. Though she is tough, she is caring to her family and gives them everything, and I mean everything, they could ever need. She is a very skilled hunter and fighter. Though she relies on others to do her day to day "chores", she will always take care of the "dirty work" for herself.
Raised by her father she was chosen to lead the pack at a young age. Upon hearing of the news for his daughter, Ares father trained her to become ruthless and demanding. He taught her how to get what she needed, even when she would fight it. Eventually she was conditioned to fear nothing and fight for her pack. He father was later killed by a former member of the Artemis pack, she convinced herself that it was planned and since then has had a undeniable hate for the artemis pack. Some say her hate is stronger than any leader of the Chimera pack before her.
She has no family left, her father was the last living member.
She has no mate or crush, she is focused more on running a pack and getting revenge. Though if a brute were to come around that could hold his own against her, she might just let him in.

The Artemis pack is one of peace and strength. Living by a code that benefits both wolves and Mother nature alike. Beautiful and compassionate wolves. What can make you weak, can also make you strong. They are united as one, taking care of one another as though they were blood kin. Vowing to protect the way of life that they once knew true. Earth has a balance that must remain, with out it, all civilization would clash, until there were none left. Do no mistake their compassion for disability, they raise lip and tooth as well as their former brethren. Cunning and wise becomes their strongest tool for survival, using their compassion to guide them. Their leader is one that will always to the place in front, in the line of fire. A valley that has been broken, will always be home, peace will guide them to their fate. What ever it may hold.

Where does the name come from? ARTEMIS was the great Olympian goddess of hunting, wilderness and wild animals. She was also a goddess of childbirth, and the protectress of the girl child up to the age of marriage. Her twin brother Apollon was similarly the protector of the boy child. Together the two gods were also bringers of sudden death and disease--Artemis targetted women and girls, and Apollon men and boys.

Nyx is named after the god of the night. He was given this name because of his black coat, sprinkled with just a few silver specks, holding a strong resemblance to the stars in the sky. He also gained this name because even in the dark of the night it is his duty to watch over and protect the land and all that inhabit it. He is compassion and proud. Making decisions based on what is best for the pack and all that it relies on to survive. Though it is rarely seen, he can be very aggressive in confrontation. This being the main reason why he avoids it, other than believing in peace as opposed to violence.
Nyx was raised by his aunt until she died. She taught him about the earth and all of its creatures and how they are all important in keeping each other alive and strong. She took him in when flood waters took away his mother and father. Though, she was later murdered by Ares and her pack as a retaliation/ revenge for the death of her father.
Nyx is very family oriented and believes that there is always room for more in the pack and on the earth. He wants to have a large family and to have a mate, however at the moment he is single.
Nyx has no remaining kin, many were taken in the flood two years ago and his aunt, the last of them, was murdered by the Chimera.

Name: This brute's name is Aukusti. It is a name of Finnish origin, meaning majestic. However, he goes by the abbreviated form of this word, Aku. Like the name entails, this brute is quite handsome and regal-looking. Aku takes pride in his appearance and stature, training as much as possible.

Gender: Aku is a brute, and takes on the full capabilities that the gender possesses. Flirting, fighting, more flirting, you name it.

Sexuality: Aku is heterosexual.

Rank: He is a lead fighter of the chimera pack, and enjoys the power that he wields. This brute respects almost no one, except for those who rank higher than him. Even so, his cockiness and arrogance is always in full blossom.

Personality Description: Aku isn't one for lies and pretenses. All that he has is available and visible on the surface. He is loud and adventurous, always thrill-seeking. He loves to have fun, and will do almost anything to have his way. His personality is reckless, and he rarely considers where his actions will lead him. He is full of himself at times, and often can see past his own opinions an viewpoints. Others may find him somewhat obnoxious, especially when it comes to fighting. He likes to show he's right, and hates being proved otherwise. However, he is very loyal, and will passionately protect others in his pack if it comes to it. He enjoys to flirt with others, but he may quickly fall in love. When he's in love, it is difficult for him to hold back. Small random gestures of kindness are his aptitude, and if he ever really likes someone, it will be very obvious.

Your Story: A relatively normal life has been nice for Aku. He was born to two wolves of the Chimera pack; a hunter and a fighter with decent standing in the pack. Aku was the firstborn and only born of this pair, making their family quite small. At a young age, Aku demonstrated an assertive and courageous personality, to the delight of his parents. His father, Marco, began to train the pup as soon as he was old enough to be weaned off of his mother's milk. Marco's passion for making his brute strong was fierce, and many long days were spent drilling his son again and again. Although Aku sometimes tired from these prolonged training sessions, he rarely complained. They helped him become powerful in the long run, and he is now known as a wolf with great strength and authority - the delta.

Pack life went along very well for the young brute. He was already many steps ahead of the other brutes in his age group, making him difficult competition. Things seemed to be going fine - that is, until the weather took a turn for the worse. food shortages were common, and the young wolf's pack was at a loss of what to do. Many wolves died off due to the elements and starvation - two of the wolves included his parents. Driven by rage and grief, Aku became passionate about protecting what is theirs. He carries a burden o provide for his pack, as much as he can lack seriousness sometimes. However, he will stop at nothing to make sure his pack is provided for.

Personality Description: Kaisa is a shy, recessive wolf who often never speaks up for herself. Due to her past position, she has learned what and what not to do. Being an Omega means that she must be recessive, quiet, and always the last for anything. She does not speak much, and when she does, it is short, and comes off as almost a whisper. Kaisa is very sweet, always putting others before herself. Unfortunately, she is used to being treated poorly by others. However, she never lets this get to her. The best thing to do is for her to advert her eyes, show respect, and not speak unless spoken to. If others treat her well, she lights up into a whole new wolf. If she is given the time of day, she proves to be a faithful, loyal friend. She may even crack a light joke or two. However, all she is known for is her weakness, and she is ashamed.

Recently, Kaisa has risen to the position of a healer. It took much hard work and convincing, but she is now what she has always wanted to be. The fae devotes herself to her work, often not stopping until she is sure that a wolf is healed to the best of her capabilities, and then some. Intelligence dwells behind the quiet she-wolf's mind, and although she does not often speak, when she does they are words of knowledge and kindness. Her nurturing soul is very overt, presenting itself in an obvious manner to everyone. However, Kaisa is still quite timid and shy, since she is still used to being treated like an Omega.

Your Story: On one chilly winter's day, a new life entered the world. However, the life in the small pup was weak. Kaisa had been born several weeks premature, leaving her small and sickly. Her parents, loners of the land, were ashamed of their puny, weak daughter. However, they knew they could not leave the pup at such a young age, at least not alone. so, they conspired and did what they did best: manipulated. One day, at the Artemis pack boarder, the two young parents waited for the daily patrol. When is arrived, they placed the pup behind a tall blade of grass. Her mother, Taivas, somehow convinced the pack wolves that they had a strong, powerful pup that could contribute to their increasing workload. However, once they plopped the small, sick pup in front of the artemis wolves, they ran as quickly as they could. It was too late to catch up with the abandoning parents, so the disgruntled pack wolves were left with an ill pup.

The combined factor's of Kaisa's general weakness and the deceit of her parents landed her in the position of an Omega as soon as she was old enough not to be considered a pup. It was a hard life for her; pack members were very unkind, and she was often used as the object of everyone's rage. She became ill often, and as a result spent much of her time in the Healer's den. There, she watched with fascination as she watched them preform their jobs. Kaisa always knew that the rank of a healer was for her. Much to the irritation of the healers, Kaisa came by every day, even when she wasn't ill. She watched them with a quiet, studious look in her eyes. Although she never once pestered or got under foot, the healers became irritated. Either she helped them out or left was their philosophy. So, Kaisa eagerly lended a paw whenever possible. She gained much experience from helping, and soon was well-versed in healing. The Alpha and Lead healers couldn't dismiss her talent forever. So, she was recently appointed to the rank of a Healer. Although she is young and viewed as inexperienced and still Omega-like, some do not take her seriously. However, Kaisa will do whatever necessary to prove herself capable, even if it means sacrificing some of her own needs.

Personality Description: She is intelligent, and always follows her instinct. She is fierce, noble, and puts her pack above anything. She doesn't hate the Artemis pack, but she has a strong dislike for them considering what they've done and taken from her pack.
Your Story: She was a loner with her younger brother, her parents dead from an ambush. She was challenged by the Chimera pack, since they didn't necessarily believe she was worth trusting. They took her in as temporary member with her brother, and proved her loyalty a few months later. Her brother didn't want to stay in the Chimera pack, and had confronted her about this. She had near begged him to stay, but he refused. She had no choice but to drive him out with force, leaving him with several injuries beyond the border of the Chimera pack. They rewarded her with full membership in the pack, and she has been here ever since.

Anything else?: She does miss her brother...But she always makes sure to push away the doubt of his departure when she thinks about him.

Gender: Brute. Though he doesn't act much like one.
Sexuality: Hetereosexual, but he isn't too sure.

Personality Description: He's laid-back, quiet and secretive. He doesn't have any friends, only acquaintances. He doesn't trust many, and he doesn't speak very often. But when he does, he usually says something really wise or smart.
Your Story: He doesn't remember what happened his parents, he only remembers being a loner with his sister, Amyntas. His sister brought him to the Chimera pack when he was less than 2 months old. They were temporary members there for a few months. In those few months the pack was very mean to him, and his sister didn't defend him at all. He decided it wasn't the pack for him, and admitted it to his sister. She had begged him to stay, but he refused. She then attacked him, and dragged him beyond the Chimera pack's territory. He was near dead, and found by the Artemis Pack. He was unconscious for nearly a whole day. When he woke up his wounds were treated, and he was invited to join the Artemis Pack. After his sister's betrayal to this kinship, he became laid-back and quiet, unlike the bubbly and playful pup he used to be. And he truly misses his sister.

Anything else?: His sister used to be a better wolf... but she got to caught up in proving her loyalty for the Chimera Pack, that she forgot to be there for him and protect him. He acts as if he hates his sister, but the truth is that he could never fight her: because he respects his kin, even if she betrayed him and almost killed him.
