I'm honestly thinking this is Saikiyo's pup by looking to the face.

And I know this doesn't match the hint,but...
It's because of the style.

See these pups? Their faces have almost the same style of the staff one,specially the last one. See the "hair"? And the artist for them was Saikiyo.
I know this is going to be wrong and it's probably a coincidence,but for me it's either Saikiyo or... Yağmur maybe? The hint was "It's all in the eyes." And this pup seems to be the only one to have different eyes from the entire litter (For now). ^^

It may not match the hint -right now- (w/ long tail and such), but the pups often change dramatically. And from what I see she talked about "her dog" and not explicitly about "the second stage" ;3
It does match her other hints (puppet theme / maybe a bit angry) and the way the gradient on the body was done (on the belly) reminds me of her last pup:

Yeah I was thinking about that too. After all,this is Trolltember,haha. And it does kinda remind me of her last pup too. Well,only time will tell,right? Unless a really helpful hint from her shows up. x3
