I walk around the forest as a fox. Why is there never anything exciting anymore?

"Aww come on!," she sat down, "Sorry, I'm really bored." She turned back to her cat form. She looked around for anything that would rid her boredom. When she saw nothing, she layed down and put her face on her arms.

"Maybe...but don't look for her yourself or she'll think you did this and will kill you," I warm her weakly.

I look over at the person I believe to be a cat shifter or something like that and nudge them gently.

"If it means saving you I will"she says sharply but still has worry in her tone

"At least take me with you so she won't kill you on sight," I weakly murmur, my voice barely audible now.

She turns to her horse form"can you hold on?"she asks him

I shift to my human form and get onto her back weakly. "Yeah just...don't go very fast okay?" I say in her ear, still almost silently though.

"I won't...where would your mother be?"she asks him starting to walk

"Hunting in the forest probably," I whisper before fainting.

She turns to her human form and carries him into the forest
