If you ask me the riddle is about autumn (falling leaves and such.
And given the colores, so how about a tree based dog? Maybe a greyed out leaf on it or such ^^
It would be interesting if it has fog all around xD

I think the color scheme is
gray, cream, yellow, purple and white ops I forgot different kinds of blue
jugging by the pets that have already come out

Since didnt give one last night, here is my last hint for a few days

Little thieves and tabby cats
Fallen leaves then golden mats
What luck have i, this little one
To escape my fate and be redone

I'm like picking this apart and
'Little thieves' sounds like foxes or raccoons or opossums , or maybe tanukis? Tabby cats is self explanatory. The sentence makes me think of magpies and such taking things that catch their fancy, and I know cats catch birds often.
Fallen leaves makes me think of either autumn or dying trees, and golden mats make me think of cute Christmas-themed welcome mats, so the sentence as a whole makes me think of changing seasons, but when you read it with the first one, it sounds like the little thieves are taking these things, and then I think of fairies or pixies instead of animals.
Not sure what the third sentence means... perhaps that the author is unlucky? And that they've met a terrible fate, but the subject gets a second chance at something. So overall, I feel like the hint is saying that the author was a thief and started out small, but moved on to bigger things and eventually got captured. However the staff pup gets a second chance at thievery. Maybe it'll be a tabby cat/raccoon mix or something xD

We'll i do love the coon tail I'll wait till it grows up to see well my hoard of foxes from this months grows still I can wait to see them

Well, the color scheme is on the newborns' blankets


And actually none of the pups that grew have white on them, just light cream. The grey on the blanket is also more of a bluey-grey than neutral grey.
