Someone explain to me what "Bloody Murder" is, because I see it in nearly every FMA fanfics

They don't show much anime on TV in my country, and I'm too scared to buy the FMA manga because my mum labels everything she's unfamiliar with as "wrong". I've stopped watching anime online now due to me being concerned about boring legal issues. And because I'm paranoid that ads might give my laptop viruses. Friend IRL, you may have gotten me into FMA, but how long will it last...

(Actually, several weeks ago I showed my friend IRL a few FMA fan videos. I wanted to show her the first episode of 2003 on FUNimation's YouTube channel, but I was too scared to.)

Once I saw someone in a YouTube comment who said they starting hating FMA when they discovered there was an anime... What the actual heck?
