I decided it's about time I reveal myself. You may have seen a few people thanking an anonymous gifter, and here I am. I guess you're right X-cat, I couldn't stay hidden for long.

The reason I did it was for a bit of an experiment. Errr, maybe that's not the right word. That seems to imply a lot of thought went into it, which is simply not true. I just randomly decided to do it.

You see, usernames are important. I found the people who I gifted by searching through the thread, gifting both those who received and those who gave gifts. If person A is being thanked alot, then I'm more likely to gift them, because it's clear to me they're generous and deserve a gift.

And it's sort of interesting what happens when you remove the username of somebody.

Anyway, I just wanted to explain it for those who were curious. That aside, I have a few thank you's in order!
