Marco was sitting in the back corner of his favourite little pastry store in Magnolia. He was depressed. Not only was his relationship with his boyfriend forbidden by his grandfather and Guild Master, but his best friend - sister practically - was off-limits too. Marco cursed lightly under his breath. Cursed his bad luck. Cursed Grimoire Heart. Cursed himself. He lifted some sweet pastry to his mouth, taking a bite before he stood and left his position. He nodded to the store's owner as he walked out. Suddenly, a small figure appeared before him ((tut tut Marco, we must work on your attention)) and a collision was unavoidable. Marco blushed heavily and stammered out an apology, "I-I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there," he said with a charming smile. "Are you alright?"

Robyn looked up just in time to see a larger teenager collide into her, almost knocking her off her feet, making her stumble.
"H-huh? Oh, It's okay." She looked up at the male, a slight spot of blue showing through his shirt caught her attention.
"What's that? Is that a guild mark?" She asked, looking up at Marco. Oh good lord, what if he was apart of Grimoire Heart?
He didn't really look like someone to be apart of that guild... But who knows? She certainly didn't. She had the sudden urge to
move his tee-shirt so that she could see the guild mark... But that would be rude, right?

Marco placed a steadying hand on the smaller girl's shoulder. "Are you sure? I'm not normally so clumsy, I'm just not myself at the moment." He smiled at her again.
"Yeah, it's a Guild mark. I'm from Fairy Tail. I can't say I've seen you round before,' he replied. He took her in, slightly on the shorter side, probably 14 or 15. Too young to be on her own. Where were her parents? Marco found himself frowning in though.

Robyn glanced back up at the taller male... Damn, he was like, really tall...
"Yeah, it's fine." She smiled up at the male, His question didn't catch her offguard,
lots of people were asking if she was new lately, not really surprising... since she's new...
"I'm new, I just joined Fairy Tail. I'm glad you're apart of Fairy Tail too, I was kinda freaking out because like,
what if you were a Grimoire Heart member? I know we signed a treaty and all, but they kind of give me the creeps,
because they're all for killing and stuff-" she paused and looked back up at him, which seemed like a chore at this point
because of his height. Marco had a slight frown plastered on his face, which was confusing.
"Hey, you okay? what's with the frown?" She asked, cocking her head slightly in confusion.

Marco smiled watching the smaller girl constantly crane her neck to meet his eye. He gestured to an empty table nearby and guided her to a seat, gesturing to the pastry people as he did so. He needed his usual order again.
"I'm so glad to hear you're a newbie. I was afraid that after the whole ordeal with Grimoire Heart that people wouldn't want to join with us any more. Plus the rumours of that new guild are pretty off-putting too. I'm Marco, by the way," he said with a smile. He thanked a waiting staff person as they placed a plate on the lattice-work metal table between them and picked up his favourite pastry. A custard and apple thing. "Go on,"he said, nodding towards the plate, "They're absolutely delicious."

Robyn glanced down at the plate, picking up a spiral-like pastry sprinkled with what looked like different types of chocolate.
"Thank you" She smiled, taking a small bite into the pastry, tasting what seemed to be custard, cream,
jams and chocolate sauce... Probably cost quite a bit. Does he want to be payed? Maybe? probably?
"Do you want me to pay or something? I have a bit of money, if you want?" She pulled out a small pouch of money,
shaking it a few times before placing it on the table. Wait, didn't he ask her name...?
"Oh, I'm Robyn by the way." She smiled at him before taking another bite of the pastry.

Marco chuckled at the girl's expression as she bit into the chocolate-jam-whirl pastry. He shook his head in answer to the girl's question "Don't be ridiculous. This is a welcome to the guild gift, and I will not have you paying one jewel,"he said, reaching out to put the coin purse back in her hand. He nodded in acknowledgement of her name. Robyn. He rolled around his tongue, testing it out. It fit her. Wild pink hair, independent. It just fit. He smiled at her ((Marco is a creeper and smiles at little girls a lot.)) "It's a pleasure to meet you Robyn. Say, can I ask why you decided to join Fairy Tail? I mean, we used to be pretty good, but..."he trailed off with a shrug. Things had changed since he Guild War. Since he'd lost Mist. And so many others. Since he'd come out of his coma so much had changed. He'd lost Daemon. He'd lost Amelie. But there were good things too. There were still things to make him smile.

Robyn pondered on the question, taking another bite and swallowing it swiftly while doing so.
"I guess it's because I had wanted to join this guild for a long time, since I was really young. I remember my parents were really worried when the Guild War started, but I snuck out and I watched it. It was amazing... even though lots of people died, It was for the greater good, right? I think I saw someone who looked like you there, actually. He was with a red haired guy... They were really strong, It was brilliant to watch wizards battle it out. After that, I wanted to join the guild, so I did." She paused and chuckled to herself "Well, I just told my life story to someone I met a few minutes ago, Good job Robyn" She chuckled and took another bite of her pastry, again.
