- Welcome to the Island! This place has not been discovered by many other humans, lucky you! As you can see, this place is covered in lush jungle forest. Don't worry, no leopards or tigers here. This place mainly inhabited by birds! It's called Macaw Island for a reason. Most times you'll see macaw villages up in the canopy, logged safely in trees or nests hanging by branches. Macaws are the most common inhabitant, but sometimes you'll see a budgie or sometimes even a toucan!
The birds here are special. They are capable of learning foreign languages quickly, including English and Spanish when exposed to humans. They have their own language, and are highly intelligent. Careful! They like to steal technology from washed up humans, hold tight to that phone!
The macaws have a rich culture, that has been based on years of ship-wrecked humans teaching them the ways of the main land.
Nesting
The birds here take pride in their nests. Often decorating them with flowers or 'shinies' they find along the shore. The nest is usually lodged in a tree nook, but sometimes can be found in a tree branch or sometimes hanging from vines.
Breeding
The birds mate for life, and have family lives much resembling human family lives. The father and the mother take care of the chick(s) and love them tenderly.
Decorations
These intelligent birds enjoy dressing themselves up to impress others. They will find flowers or pebbles and string them together and make a necklace. Often times, human artifacts wash up on shore for them to wear.
Adoption
These birds choose you. Each have a different way for you to impress them based on their personality. You can impress two to three birds to be your companion. If they don't like you, they won't choose you. Keep in mind, these birds are very particular in choosing a human companion.
