Glo was sorry she asked for a moment. She knew he was thinking of Death and Aeron, and that she had probably made him upset. But she forgot about it and was focused again on her heart rate when he said to see her. "Well, you're one of my only friends. Girls don't get it the way you do." He would know what she ment. They had been through both of their pasts before. She even told him that she wouldn't love again. She lied, of course. But she couldn't bring herself to tell him in fear of losing him. She remembered that his was worse and decided to be quiet. She was probably hurting him just by saying that. Being friend with him was like walking through glass; you have to be careful where you step. But every step was worth it.

She sighed. "I know... But I can't risk losing you..." she knew she would loose. She wanted a foal, maybe more than he did. But she wanted him to stay...

Chance smiled at him. "I trust you. And I love you." she learned her head against him. He was big, even lying down. Chance was so tiny. She looked like his foal, lying beside him.

Glo nodded, steadying her heart rate again before verbally answering. "Alright."

Glo sighed. "I feel the same way. I know my, ah, incident wasn't very bad, but Flutter was one of my best friends and... Well, you've reminded me that I can still live without love... I feel free. And I've let go of my promise." she said to him. It felt wrong to continue lying that she wouldn't love again. "Loving is what keeps us sane. We all love. Just in different ways. You tought me this. And I can't ever thank you for it."

Chance stood, and she still looked small. "So what now?" she asked.

Cheyv stood beside her, silent. He had never had a foal, so he had no clue what to do. He tripped over his own feet as he walked up to her, his chest soon pressing her rump. "I love you, chance." He nuzzled her rump and mounted her.
