The way I see USUK, England is more adult than America, but America wants to be an adult when he isn't actually one. He left England because he was bossing him around and he wanted to be more independent (Independence Day), but secretly he misses him (America's Storage Room Cleaning episode). So if America admits that he misses England's (adoptive) older brother-like love and goes back to England, I would think England is the adult and America is more like a little boy. But maybe that's just my theory, or maybe that's the mysterious difference between USUK and UKUS

All that set aside, I still can't decide whether I want to ship the two as a couple or whether I prefer them just as brothers and friends...

With me and my friend, Iceland is the unfortunate loner of the nordics xD
Because we ship DenNor and SuFin, and we don't really ship hongice.
So, me and her don't ship Iceland with anyone.
We end up just feeling bad when everyone else we ship with somebody and he's there alone xD
But I agree, they should be friends. Best friends forever.

If you don't ship HongIce, you can always ship Iceland x Fridge or Iceland x Croatia: she is my OC and in my Hetalia-playing with my sister, they are a couple, even though we also like HongIce and IceFridge - and we found an OC to go with Fridge as well so she wouldn't be lonely without Iceland
