The tortoiseshell cat didn't want to come forward to Jaypaw , afraid of what Moonpaw would do- if he would spark an argument or walk away. Their friendship would be over. Jaypaw would be gone. Her emotions overwhelming her, she turned away, trying to blink away the tears that had gathered in her green eyes. This is my fault. Why did I ever fall in love?
