He did nothing but sit, staring at the Thuderpath ahead. Flintfoot flicked his tail back and forth.

She padded over to his side and sat down, saying nothing as she tried not to flinch every time a monster went by.

" Go find your mate. " Flintfoot said, only blinking as the monsters rolled by. " I'm sure he'd appreciate company. " He added in a mutter.

She frowned, tilting her head to look at Flintfoot. "Flintfoot, Riverstorm is important to me, but so is every other cat. And every one deserves to be comforted. So, that's what I'm doing now. Comforting you." She said sternly, looking back at the monsters. "Well, at least I'm trying to." She murmured.

With an ear flick, Flintfoot rose to his paws. "You don't need to comfort me. The rest of the Clan is more important than a whiny warrior. " He responded quietly.

Kestrelflame had followed them silently, limping heavily. As they sat down, she mewed, "Flintfoot, if you had died, I would never forgiven myself. If I lost you...it would feel like someone had stabbed me in the heart."

She didn't look back, only flicked her tail. "You're not whiny." She retorted. "Only upset. And its perfectly normal to be upset." She sighed. She looked up at the sky, watching the clouds. She looked back a Kestrelflight. "If you want to make a full recovery, you shouldn't be waltzing around like this all the time. It takes time for a wound to heal." She transfered her gaze to Flintfoot. "But she is right. You should listen."

She blinked, frowning. "But..." She mumbled under her breath, trailing off. 'I don't think its a good idea for Kestrelfkame to keep wandering around. Maybe I should tie her up!' She joked in her mind.
