Flamewing sat outside the Warrior's den, carefully watching every cat. She saw Willowleaf's pelt, but went back to looking at the clan.

Kestrelflame grunted in effort as she curled into a ball. She whimpered in pain.

Flintfoot paced in the middle of camp, looking at the ground in front of him.

Flamewing got up from where she was sitting, and padded over to Flintfoot. "Look, I'm sorry, I really am." She said softly, resting her tail in his shoulder.

Flintfoot

He shrugged Flamewing's tail off of his shoulder. " I don't need pity. I almost cost a cat's life today. " Flintfoot grumbled, continuing to pace.

[fowauke]

She shook her head. "I'm not giving you pity, I'm apologizing for my mistakes." She said sternly. "And if Kestrelfkame didn't save you, then there would be a heartbroken cat, and a dead one. Now there's only a injured one." She pointed out. "Besides, she'll make a full recovery! But, you can't fix death. Which is what you would be if she hadn't saved you."

Flintfoot

He stopped. " That's my mistake! I should have died! " Flintfoot snapped. He then marched out of camp.

[fowauke]

She bounded after him. "Why should you have died? Why should Kestrelflame have to go through the pain of losing you, always blaming herself for your death, because she didn't save you?" She tried to keep cool, trying to get her point across to Flintfoot.

Flintfoot

Flintfoot didn't answer, for he didn't want to think about the heartbroken Kestrelflame.

(( I know he sounds kinda whiny, but he really wasn't suppose to survive past his apprenticeship. I'll probably make a comic/fan-fiction about his story. ))

(I see! Do show me if you do! And I hope you don't kill him off any time soon!)

Flamewing flicked her ear, knowing she proved a valuable point. "Don't beat yourself up over it. These things happen. But, the good thing is, no ones dead, and I've never heard of a dislocated leg never fully recovering." She smiled softly.

(I've dislocated my knee twice before, and it hurt so bad, but I was better in like an hour XD)
