NOTICE:
From this moment forward we are NOT accepting former kittypets/rogues/loners!
❅Rules❅
❅General❅1. Follow all of the CS rules.
2. No swearing. Please keep everything age-appropriate, as I do not want to get on one day and find this thread locked.
3. No powerplaying or godmodding.
4. No spam (advertising, multiple posting, etc.).
5. Fade to black when need be (mating, kitting, etc.).
6. Be kind. Bullying, insulting, and all other types of rude behavior are not tolerated here.
7. You cannot be your own crush or mate.
8. If you have an important role, such as medicine cat or deputy, you must be fairly active. PM me if you plan on being inactive for a while.
9. You may not kill off another person's character without their permission
10. Do not ask to be a mod. I will elect who I deem appropriate.

15. You CANNOT have leader and medicine cat.
16. You CANNOT have leader and deputy.
17. The Medicine cat will decide who their next apprentice will be.
❅Posting Length❅ There is no limit to the length of your posts! Feel free to write a few sentences, or several paragraphs. I am a firm believer that sometime more can be said in a few words than a four hour lecture.
❅Structure❅Please, write
correctly.
This is
wrong:
*walks into camp* hi *says quietly while looking around*
See? That's horrible.
This is
right:
Sootfeather walked into camp. "Hi..." He said quietly while looking around.
Now, do you see? I said the same thing in both forms, but the second one, the correct one, is the only readable one.
Also, please
do not type in first person.
Example:
I walked into camp and glanced at my mud-spattered paws.
❅Grammar❅ Please use proper grammar when typing! It's understandable in speech, like a cat that was a kittypet and has a think country accent, and tends to say 'ain't' a lot and things like that.
Wrong:
There wasn't no way Sparrowheart was going on patrol.
Right:
"There ain't no way I'm going on patrol," Sparrowheart muttered.
Never type like this:
"R u going 2 the stream?" Robinfeather asked. "I can go wid u."
Don't shorten words or replace them with numbers.
❅Writing Cat Names❅You
CANNOT write your cat's name like this: FoxCloud
This is incorrect. The suffix of a Clan name is
NOT capitalized.
Correct- Fire
heart
Incorrect- Fire
Heart
❅Prefixes❅A cat's prefix is decided by the parent's at birth. It could describe the cat's
appearance (i.e.: Foxkit for a ginger cat), it could be on
honor of someone or something (i.e.: Featherkit in honor or ancestor Featherfur, or Dawnkit in honor of the parents' first meeting at dawn), or it could
pertain to the conditions of birth (i.e.: Atormkit for being born in a storm, or Nightkit for a kit born at night).
A prefix
cannot be the kit's
eye color, as all cats are born both deaf and blind. After their eyes open, all cats' eyes are blue until around twelve weeks. Therefore, you
can't have a cat named Blueeyes or Ambereyes.
Wind, River, Shadow, Thunder, and Star are
NEVER to be used as names. This is because they are the names of the Clan founders.
SKY, however,
can be used, as cats don't know of SkyClan.
Swift
isn't to be used, as it's the Clan's name.
Moon is
never to be used in a name, as it is reserved for places sacred to StarClan, such as the Moonpool.
(The Erins admitted to breaking this rule.)
Despite moon being off limits,
sun is still a useable prefix.
❅Suffixes❅ All
apprentice names end with -paw. All
kit names end in -kit. All
leader names end in -star.
The suffix can describe the cat's:
(A)Skill- like -claw for a skilled fighter.
(B) Personality- Such as -flower for a motherly cat, -cloud for a calm cat, -storm for a skilled fighter.
(C) Body part- Such as -tail for a cat with an unusual tail, -foot for a light-footed, swift cat, or -scar for a cat with an unusual, distinct scar.
Moon is
never to be used in a name, as it is reserved for places sacred to StarClan, such as the Moonpool.
(The Erins admitted to breaking this rule with Moonflower, and wished they could've changed her name to Duskflower.)
Spirit is
never to be used.
❅Warrior, Joiner, and Kit Names❅The
leader will choose:
(A) The names of Loners/Kittypets/Rogues joining the Clan.
No exceptions.(B) the leader will choose all warrior names. However, a cat may request a warrior name in honor of something. Such as a warrior taking their dead mother's prefix as their suffix. (i.e. | Sootpaw taking the name Sootfeather in honor of his passed mother)
Parents will choose:
The names of all of their
kits.
Moon is
never to be used in a name, as it is reserved for places sacred to StarClan, such as the Moonpool.
(The Erins admitted to breaking this rule with Moonflower, and wished they could've changed her name to Duskflower.)
Spirit is
never to be used.
