Killian's ears flicked slightly at the small sounds of a bird. He thought they had all left when he started snarling and howling how odd. Without another word he turned and ran back towards the camp he had made not even thirteen hours ago. He knew he should really rest, the blood moon was the next day he needed to be able to take care of that man and turn a few people. He definitely would be turning some of the women in the town, but he really wanted to meet some of the men still in the town.

Forcing himself to calm down her focused on his human shape, it took a good fifteen minuets but eventually his bones started going through their usual process of snapping and reforming. This time it did cause a bit of pain, probably because of how violent he had been in his wolf forum. He leaned against the tree breathless, panting hard. His eyes seemed to be stuck in a golden yellow color for the moment being, probably from the pain coursing through him.

Killian thought back to the sound of the bird taking off not that long ago, his keen canine hearing allowing him to hear the almost non-existant sounds of it taking off. He wanted to know why, no wild animal would have stayed to watch him rampaging for fear of it's life. His heightened sense of smell lead him back in the way he just come from before branching off widely even before hitting the clearing. He followed the trail a few more feet before loosing it in a clearing. In the thick of the forest the bird must have had to fly low, but now that that forest opened the up the bird more than likely took to flying over the trees.

Deciding it was likely the bird headed in the general direction it seemed to have been heading the whole time during his tracking of it simply kept on in that direction. He stopped after nine minuets in that same direction leaning against a tree, he could almost swear he could hear some muffled giggling*.

"{ No, that can't be!}" the huntress exclaimed in disbelief, but the raven continued to bob its head up and down excitedly in emphasis that it told the truth. "{ By my marrow, who'da known human females could be so utterly foolish! They must be [i]cag mag!}"[/i] She struggled to contain her amusement as she clutched her abdomen, as if doing so would restrain her girlish laughter. Her attempts were futile as she tossed her head back and practically howled with laughter, slowly tipping to one side. "{ AHA HA- OH SWEET MOTHER OF FENRIR WOLF-!!!}" She had caught wind of another Varl in the area, probably the one who had been consorting with females. "{ Ah- WAAAAGH!}" The sheer nature of surprise from the suddenly close proximity sent her off balance and quickly tumbling out of the tree, bumping into branches and raked by twigs until she hit the ground.

Muinin flapped his wings and cawed with laughter as she groaned began to pick herself back up. "{ Oh shut up, stupid raven.}" Those words summoned him from the tree back onto her shoulder with a swift nip at her ear with his ebony beak. "{ Oi! You know I didn't mean that...}" He cawed again and began turning his head this way and that, peering into the darkness with equally dark little eyes. "{ Hm? I thought I smelled that Varl you spoke of. The way you described him, he doesn't sound like much of a beast.}" she began to chuckle again, ignorant as to who could possibly be listening.

Killian stumbled away from the tree as a loud laughing started up from it, trying to stay as quiet as possible still. He had no weapons on himself, though it sounded like female laughter to him so he wasn't very scared.* He closed the gape between him and the tree again, leaning against it and peering around it in time to see the raven fly down from the branch and nip the girls ear.

His golden eyes narrowed at her last comment, not because she thought she could sense him, but because she didn't think him much of a beast. Killian pressed him back against the tree for a few moments sucking up his pain before pushing off the tree and moving around it so he was standing behind her. "What an assumption, love," he said only loud enough to be heard ,"You don't know how much of a monster I could really be."
