Shudderleaf felt a drop of rain, then another, as rain began to pour from the sky. She hurried back to camp and dropped off her freshkill, and hurried Dripkit, who was splashing in a puddle, to the nursery.

Heatherlight
She stirred as a drop of water fell on her, blinking the sleep from her eyes she sat up and saw it had started raining. "Mousedung!" she muttered she would have to do her vigil in the rain. "At least it will keep me away.." She meowed to herself and stood up shaking the moss off her pelt.

(I'm gonna be a bit slow responding, just started High school this monday (yaaaayy!!) so now I'm super busy (aaaawww..) When should Heatherlight start her vigil?)

"How come Heatherlight gets to be out there?" Dripkit complained as Shudderleaf licked his wet pelt. "It's her special night, she's even braver to to it in the rain." Shudderleaf replied, busily licking.

(School's started and I am finding hard to get to a computer because my sister has cross country practice til 5:30 pm... so I might be slow posting. BTW now might be good for the vigil to start. I don't know where solstace is...)
Breezepaw hissed angrily as the rain started pouring. "So much for the patrol. I don't envy Heatherlight," He lied. He missed her so much it took his breath away. He would have given his tail to be sitting out there with her, warriors together. He walked to his den slowly, tail down, giving a final glance over his shoulder at Heatherlight as he slid into the darkening apprentice den. He sat down in his nest with a sigh. He slowly started lapping at his pelt and when it was dry he laid his head on his paws and looked longingly towards Heatherlight who was sitting in the clearing.

yeah I should start her vigil.
Solstice probably is busy with school and stuffs, it seems like everyone is just starting school and is super busy! XD )


Heatherlight
She shivered and curled her tail around her paws, the rain was cold and hard. "I hope it doesn't rain all night, I don't even have anything to shelter under." She thought her fur fluffed up for warmth against the rain she licked her chest fur trying to dry at least a little bit but it was no use, she was soaked and the rain kept coming down. "I wish Breezepaw where here, then we could keep warm next to each other." she thought and cast a longing glance towards the apprentices den.


Brightpaw
She peered out of the den into the rain from where she was, still stroking leafblaze with her tail. She felt bad for her sister that she had to do her vigil in the rain. "I'm glad I'll never have to sit outside all night silently. she thought, though she was worried about her sister. "I should prepare some herbs, she'll probably catch a cold." she meowed very quietly to herself. and carefully so not to disturb Leafblaze stood up and retrieved some lavender and tansy she wrapped them up and set them by the entrance for later, before joining Leafblaze again and falling asleep.

(XD I sorta wrote a lot.. I was in the Writy mood! ^.^ )

Leafblaze woke to the sound of raindrops pattering on the leafy covering of the entrance to the medicine den. She painfully raised her head and let out a tired cough. She was about to go back to sleep when she remembered her dream. "Brightpaw!" She called anxiously.

"its all right, I'm here." She murmured stroking leafblaze "go back to sleep, you need to rest." she murmured soothingly.

Heatherlight
She shivered as the rain continued to pour down on her. "At least its all most dawn." She thought.

Leafblaze resolutely staggered to her feet. "I must see Echostar." She rasped hoarsely.

Breezepaw couldn't sleep no matter how hard her tried. He streatched in his nest and shook the moss from his fur. Breezepaw slowly poked his head out of the apprentice's den and padded gently over to Heatherlight. He let out a soft purr as he sat down next to her.
(XD I know right! LOL!)

Brightpaw
She stood up surprised, "Okay, its okay... You stay here," She meowed gently but firmly pushing Leafblaze back into the nest, "and I'll go get her so you can speak." she meowed surprised and confused but trying not to show it. She got up and went to the entrance to the den, casting a look at Leafblaze that said "Wait here" she ducked out of the den and sprinted to Echostars, glancing at her sister sitting her vigil, "Who is that next to her? she thought, she paused and tried to look closer but couldn't make who it was out through the rain. She shrugged and ducked into Echostars den, walking up to Echostar "Echostar?" She meowed gently poking her with a paw. "Echostar!" She meowed loudly "wake up, Leafblaze needs you!" She meowed poking her again.

Heatherlight
Surprised she saw a figure padding towards her. "Breezepaw!" She thought as he sat next to her, she shivered and leaned up against him rapping her tail around him she purred Wishing she could tell him how much she liked him she gazed into his eyes blinking away the rain. Then something caught her vision out of the corner of her eye, someone was heading from the medicine den to Echostars den. "Oh no, is Leafblaze dead!" she thought "It can't be! ...but why else would a medicine cat go to the leader at this hour. I know! Maybe who ever it is had a really important vision." She thought and turned back to Breezepaw satisfied with that conclusion.

Dripkit sneaked out of camp and sat behind Heatherlight, slowly inching his way closer, and closer, when he leaped in front of her. "Can I be a warrior too? Dripkit asked excitedly. He imitated Heatherlight's sitting position.
