Grayfeather lay in his nest, rolling a ball of moss between his paws.

Upon seeing Greyfeather, she starts crying. His boredom made her feel gulity. She perks her ears as an idea came to mind.

Grayfeather flattened his ears and dug his claws into his moss. His body ached to be beside her, and he wanted to run to her and dry her eyes. But he wouldn't. She had played with his heart, and that was something she couldn't take.

Scarletflare walks over to him. "Hey bestie! Wanna hunt?"

"Of course not, not with you, anyway!" He spat.

She flattens her ears. "I tried yet you hate me no matter what!"

"Of course I do!" He growled. "And I have a good reason too, too."

"I try yet it's never acceptable. Maybe I should never have came back, even though it was for you.", she hissed before storming off.

"Good riddance!" He spat after her. "Go back to your SpikeClan boyfriend!"
