Forestlight nodded and dropped low stalking after the scent, she remained low, hiding so that when he chased the rabbit towards her, she would easily be able to catch it. Her movements were graceful, she always was, she couldn't help it, her paws slid out underneath of her so easily, it was like she was gliding. She stayed still after a bit ready to catch it.

"Yesss!" Reedpaw said, running after his mentor. He'd catch up, then run ahead, then run back. Whatever, he had to move. Moving kept him warmer. It was more out of habit than need- over leafbare, he'd developed the habit because he'd nearly frozen. It didn't help that, even if he had fur, he had a hard time staying still for more than twenty seconds. "I hope we get to practice fight." He said to his mentor excitedly.

Voidstar watched Forestlight ready herself. She had very graceful strides, it was a wonder she couldn't walk on air. He grinned. "Be prepared. I'll go around." He whispered to her, then slipped away into the bushes, his dark pelt quickly blending into the shadows. He used his sense of smell to determine where the rabbit was, and did his best to position himself directly opposite of Forestlight. He then stalked closer to where he was sure the prey was. He spotted it, a large, white-brown creature, munching on grass. Voidstar crouched, then lunged forward. Instantly the rabbit took off the other way, toward the waiting Forestlight.

Firestorm chuckled at Reedpaw, "Well first thing's first" he said and stopped when they reach the border. "What do you smell?" he asked his apprentice. Scenting the air himself. There was a faint hint of a thunderpath but that was nothing new. (WB)

Forestlight nodded, she was ready, prepared, even excited, it was fun hunting with Voidstar, minus the getting froze part, even now she was still cold, but felt alot warmer. She saw the large white brown rabbit bound towards, her she was downwind so she knew it wouldn't see her or even scent her, it would just keep running. It got closer and closer till she leapt out jumping on it, it struggled a bit she she killed it swiftly and then thanked Starclan for it's life.

Reedpaw trotted after his mentor happily, still running back and forth repeatedly. When they got to the border, the small apprentice(the Clan has a lot of small apprentices..) stopped and finally sat down. He took a deep breath and thought for a moment before replying. "I smell a lot of things. Leaves, dirt, maybe a mouse, rain that might be on its way..."

Voidstar slowed a bit once he realized Forestlight had caught the rabbit. He bound to her, and by the time he got there, she'd killed it. "Great kill!" He purred, skidding to a stop. He frowned and lifted a paw. A leaf was stuck to it. He shook his paw gently and it fell to the ground.

Forestlight smiled happily and nodded abit, "Thank you" She purred gently, it had been a good kill, the rabbit was large that was four pieces of prey now, her two, Voidstar's fish and the rabbit they had both caughten, she wondered if Ruinedstone had caught anything yet. She laughed softly at Voidstar when he shook off the leaf.

Hollypaw flinched, she was a rather jumpy apprentice, she always was. She jumped at the slightest of noises terrified, a snapping branch she fainted. Hollypaw sighed she didn't think she would make a very good apprentice, but she would at least try it right? She been told Iceheart was her new mentor, she wondered where she was, she glanced around with her stunning green eyes, the slender white and grey she-cat curled her tail around herself quietly.

"You aren't laughing at me, are you?" Voidstar looked at Forestlight, his silver eyes happy and teasing. He stretched his legs, then shook his head and looked at the pretty she-cat. "What do you want to do? Hunt some more, or find Ruinedstone and head back?" He asked. He didn't really mind doing either, so decided to leave it up to Forestlight. Hunting with her was fun, and it caught prey for the Clan. They'd both already caught prey, enough considering the lacking number of cats, though. It didn't matter to him- he was fine with either option.

Forestlight shook her head, "Of course not I'm laughing at the leaf" She said jokingly, she smiled at him playfully, her kindhearted look in her gentle amber eyes shimmering brightly. "I think we have enough for the clan" She said, "We should head back and fins Ruinedstone, by now he's probably fallen asleep" She chuckled at the thought. She really wouldn't have minded hunting more but no need to get more then needed.

Iceheart gazed around. her ice-blue eyes searching through the camp. She mewed a greeting to a she-cat not too far away. an apprentice by the looks of it "Hello" she called in a friendly tone. She flicked her ear as a leaf fell against it. Using her paw she flicked it away and smiled.


Firestorm nodded "Anything else?" he asked his apprentice as a breeze blew around the two. He grumbled to himself then looked at Reedpaw he rippled the fur along his back, as if to realease the invisible dirt from his short fur.

"Okay, then. Lets wake him up." Voidstar replied. "I hope he didn't fall asleep in a tree." He murmured, mostly to himself, as he picked up the fish he had caught. He paused, trying to decide how to help Forestlight carry some of the prey. Ah, it was best they didn't hunt anymore- they could hardly carry what they got! He padded over to the rabbit and managed to grip the fish's tail and one of the rabbit's feet in his jaws. It'd have to do.

Reedpaw shivered when the wind blew. He quickly got to his paws and paced, though he didn't seem to realize he'd done so. He was to busy concentrating on scents. "I smell..." He wrinkled his nose. "Something nasty. Is that the thunderpath?" He asked his mentor, the deputy.
