Froststorm purred feeling lillypool lick his ears. "Are the ears that good?" He asked with a grin looking down at the rabbit ears.

Dapplestar awaited Shadow's response.

Shadowclaw looked down hopeing his guess had not made him look stupid. "I think it will be 2 of each." He said decideing to stick with his instincts even if he was wrong.

Lilly nodded, her eyes glistening. "Yeah, I dunno why, I just like them particularly much." She said, a smile on her face.

Froststorm looked up at her glad to see a smile on Lillypool's face. "I am glad that I caught one for you then." He said makeing sure that he would remember that she loved rabbit ears.

Dapplestar smiled, "how perfect that would be... I think there are gonna be 2, both a girl, and a boy..." She said, knowing she was wrong. Large litters ran in her blood, and she would be due any day if there were only two. She felt it was closer to what he had said. She heard the patter of rain outside. It made her jump. She calmed down, and curled up more tightly. The kits squirmed inside her. She felt rain drop onto her nose from outside, though they were in her den in the back of the cavern. She rushed outside, to see clods of dirt atop the the Cave barricade the entrance about halfway up. little holes in the roof let water drip into camp. puddles formed everywhere, water was unable to escape their camp. it thundered inside. hail started to fall, pebble sized hail. She ran back into the den, and curled up. What about the other cats?

[Why are Frost and Lilly lucky? Are they safe from the flood because they're in trees?]

Lilly smiled, and eventually consumed the rest of the rabbit, along with the ears. "Thanks for the dinner, love." She meowed, rubbing her head agenst his breifly.
