Actually, there's a friend of mine who had a cross-dressing character once. I probably couldn't play one. It's just a little too weird for me, but I do have a character who's actually two people in one body.

I guess people play those clique characters because they're more familiar with them and it's harder or just weirder to play anything else? I'm not sure...

Yeah, I agree with you on that one. And on semi-lits? *shudders* I'm glad I've never seen one of those myself. It's actually harder for me to type in text chat unless it's something like "lol"

This has been mentioned before, but I absolutely hate it when I join a good-looking roleplay, and it dies before anyone even posts . Or when people don't even bother reading two pages and ask for a recap. I mean, really? Two pages isn't much, even on a literate roleplay.

Ugh, I feel quite bad about this, but they're just making it worse! ;n;
In a RP I'm in, I just finished writing a huge post that took me about an hour, a second before I post my post, the creator of the RP posts hers and in this post, the three final sentences render my complete post invalid. ;o;
I ask in the OOC if they could maybe delete these three paragraphs, just so I didn't have to re-write my post completely.

And I mean completely.

I would have to have found someone else to interact with, new situation new blah blah blah, etc etc.
I thought asking her this would be reasonable, right? I mean:

Whole post > three sentences.

Yeah?

I mean, with my post, my character can interact with another’s, and then hers can come along. This gets one more person involved within the RP. If I had had to re-write my entire post of about 1,000 words, I would have to have waited a couple more days. As there is currently no one I can interact with in the RP, and after I get off the computer, my internet is off for three days.
And if I get to keep my post, it causes more drama, more people for her character to interact with and etcetc.

They respond with "I don't know I really like my post -frown.-"

I'm like "It'll cause more drama, and it's only a little bit of your post. It'll work out awesome!"

They respond the same; I respond the same, trying to convince them that the move is for the better. Begrudgingly they DELETE AN ENTIRE PARAGRAPH.

Dx They only needed to delete like three sentences! Now they are just moping around and complaining about having to find someone else to talk with! I mean honestly! You're an RPer, get some imagination, go with the drama! Show up and be like "Ugh, what are you doing with mah friend?!" blahblahblah! Don't just destroy what you did and try and make me feel guilty for it! ;-;

The other way she would have completely c***-blocked me out of the RP, I basically would have been useless.

And now I look like a gigantic B. ;n;

Ugh, I should have just waited a couple of days until the RP left me in the dust and I could quit, I don't feel like doing this RP anymore, I feel ill.

I don't understand why all animal RP's these days are either Warriors, or wolves. Come ON people, be a little creative for once in your boring lives! DX I mean, I've at least tried. I had a lion romance RP that lasted awhile, but it obviously died. Then, a bear RP that got going but then just dropped.

Yessss. I learned to RP on Furc. At first, I stuck around the usual wolf RPs. Absolute crap. Or so now I know, since back then it was three-liners or smaller and virtually no experienced players. Then I found Tanzania. Change of pace thanks to all the wildlife it offered and much higher standards. It was a great learning process.

Aw that's a shame. I used to be in a group of cross-dressing characters. xD It was interesting since we had all cross-dressed at some point and time IRL. They really are a fun experience thanks to the factors of how deeply the cross-dressing affects their personality and what traits they retain of their original gender-identity.

I've decided to stop RPing on CS. Dx
I'll continue with the couple of ones I'm in, but I'm not joining anymore. ;o;

I think the RP scene on CS is far to small to really be able to support a good RPing community.

You should make something for others like you on here. (: You seem to have what it takes.

Gyahh, nobody joins my RP's...I've only made 3 on this site, and only one person joined on one of them...and then it died... The current one I made even involves werewolves! (I've been on a regime not to do any werewolf/vampire RP's since that's just so common, and attracts those illiterate Twilighters...) I've been RPing it on a different site, and have plenty of members...Gyaahhhh

I put a lot of thought into these, I really do. CS just doesn't seem to have many dedicated RP'ers, everyone just wants a quick, completely illiterate wolf RP -.-

They're going on now about how they've got no one to interact with! YES YOU DO, YOU JUST DON'T WANT TO. It's like I asked them to cut their own legs off!

I had a Cross-dressing university RP once, iut all went to sunder, however, when everyone begun fighting about something stupid. I think most people find it a bit weird. xD I just find "odd" things a hell of a lot of fun<3

Tell me about it. I am literate, as you can tell. NO "yehz! wolvehs r so awesum!" coming out of me on a regular basis. So when I make a regular wolf Rp, using complete sentences, good grammar and an exciting plot, and no one joins I feel disappointed. Then I see another wolf Rp that looks like this:

U join a pack and u wantz to be alpha. Fight 2 gett it!!!

I get mad. Then everyone posts in one-liners like this:

sammie woke up and yawned. he was madd at blahblahblah 4 kno reson.

And that goes on for sixteen full pages. I'm glad CS appreciates my hard work and dedicatedion to good RPs. Let the n00bishness to continue.
