I have another, that's similar to the one I just asked.

When you write stories, in-story where do you like your characters to live? Any place in particular? Or did you create a word/place for them to live in?

Most of my stories don't say where they live, but usually in Canada, England, or I make up a place.

I find it hard to make up a place. When I was young I thought I made up stuff but it turns out I borrowed. Culture and location from real life places. I have only once actually started a story on a world I created. But I find the trouble with that is you have to invent everything, and it must be explained to the reader more than the real world.

I prefer places like India, Norway, Russia, Romania, Canada etc. I want to try Brazil some time.
And historical times period in some cases.

My stories usually take place in summer, even though I like to write in fall.

Usually I write stories in the Fall or Summer, but I plan on changing the season from Fall to winter soon in maybe one story, or have Summer change to Fall in my fanfiction.

Where do your stories take place mostly? Future, present, past? Any common connections between your story settings?

My stories mostly take place in a place that you never find out the name of that's kind of like our modern world.

I tend to write stories in spring- going into summer, or just summer. I like it because there is more (for me at least) to write about when it's warm in your character's time.

I don't know why but I like writing my characters in the cold of Winter, or when they wear scarves B) Like i said before I don't know why.

I prefer winter-fall-spring because those are my favorite seasons. Fall because we get Honey from our bees and Spring fir the flowers and winter for the snow.

But it just depends on the character and the setting.

Ugh every season where I am is winter I swear. It HAILED the other day! Yeah, hail in august- snowing in some areas. I like to write about summer because it's just great. Summer is my favorite holiday but not too long for me sometimes. .-.

It has been raining the last halfnof the summer here. And hailing.
I feel your pain. It snowed here in March.
