On the subject of Pokémon, I caught a Pawniard in White 2 yesterday and named him Edward.

When I first saw a picture of Ed in someone's signature on Serebii several years ago, the first thing I thought was: "Hey! His arm looks like Staven's!" (it specifically said it was FMA on said image, BTW) /life story

Before my friend IRL started watching FMA, I thought it was an anime sitcom about guys in blue jackets running around screaming, and then there was this other kid called Edward who was the main protagonist. I literally had NO IDEA what the actual plot would be. X3

Same :3 I thought Ed lost his brother because of something and his mother was a robot (because of that apron-like thing) so I was like "Oh cool" and I NEVER knew that it was Al. Al and Ed were the only 2 people I knew from FMA back then, until CS started talking about FMA I was like "what" and then it took forever til I watched it and it dragged me into the Portal of FMA Fandom.

There was an FMA fan on this website that died called Virtuadopt. All I learned from her is that Al lost his body. There was also another user with a Joltik called Edward. X3
...Then, in about February/March, my friend IRL started watching it, and my life was changed forever.

I think I may have a maybe-kinda obsession on Ling because I just created an OC with a dramatic history. Kinda. She's the twin sister of Lan Fan though she was sent away as a child, but nobody but her parents, foster parents and Ling knows
don't ask. And then she later becomes a state alchemist because her foster parents (who she thought was her real parents) died and
I don't think this is really the appropriate thread to talk about my OC...

BUUUT ANYWAY
The only reason I started watching FMA is literally because of you posting on TTAY thread so I was like "seems like a good show"
then I met Ling and I was like "dang another annoying character"
BUT THEN LAAAAAAAAATTER I STARTED OBSESSING OVER HIM

Shhh but they never knew they were even siblings until like at the end of the story >|D Plus, she's pretty well uh pretty dang hard to crack. I don't know how to describe her -shrugs-

One of the first things I learned about FMA was the homuncui burning down the library. I was reading the Wkipedia article about book burning and I saw that. I also learned about Tucker through the hated characters thread on this site, so me getting into FMA was basically me putting the pieces together. I liked that.

Does anyone have a good idea for an FMA X Spirit Tracks fic? I get that magic vs. science and everything, but Fullmetal Zelda is my favourite meme...
