Amberheart went back out of Camp, her fur brushing the Camp entrance. As she padded outside, birds twittered in the treetops. Soft grass was flattened beneath her paws. The air was pleasantly warm. She smiled, listening to the birds.

Dawnkit smiled. "Can I stay here with you? All my litter mates are somewhere doing something."

Darkcloud nodded. "I'm coming. I need some sleep."

Rainstorm was walking around the forest. She spotted Amberheart. "Hello Amberheart." She purred, also enjoying the day.

Maplestorm felt soft warm paws on his cheek. He fluttered his amber eyes open. "Nightstorm... What are you doing here?" He asked, sitting up. He was, of course, delighted that she came all the way out here just for him.

"I saw you run away, Shadeclaw and Darkcloud helped me find you." Nightstorm purred, sitting down.

"Whatcha up to?" Rainstorm asked, noticing a squirrel chase away the birds. Another squirrel ran after the other squirrel and they starting chasing each other.

Darkcloud plopped down in her nest, falling asleep instantly.

Dawnkit shrugged. "I've got no clue."

Maplestorm nodded. He sighed. "I came her because... because I really like you and I don't think you fell the same way. I fall for cats easy, and they never feel the same. I learned to just run away from it all." He sighed again, staring into her eyes.

"Do you want to play moss ball?" Maplefur mewed to Dawnkit.

Dawnkit nodded. "I'll go find one. There's one in the nursery I think!" Dawnkit scrambled toward the nursery, fetching it and bringing it back. She tossed it in the air and batted it to Maplefur.
