Uh, Sarophinx's name doesn't mean anything... we liked the sound of it, it fitted and that was it.
I spent a long time finding names before finding seresarophinx which was much to long but had a ring about it we quite liked.
We then left the name-finding for a while and then I chanced upon a scrap of paper on which I had scribbled 'Seresarophinx' on and decided on Sarophinx. We really love it's originality and I'm quite proud of it c:

Sol managed to rapidly change form about 6 times in a minute.

He seems to like being a snake, and winding himself around my forearm. He likes being close to me, preferably touching me, when I'm moving about. When I'm not moving, he wanders around the room, or looms over what I'm doing and constantly asks questions x3

Whoaaa I remember you guys had a discussion about dæmon dreams on here not to long ago and weirdly enough I had a semi-vivid one last night. I can only remember some parts of it but I remember Chi was there with me and I was trying to see if he could change shape because I told him I felt more like an otter soul but he refused, it was interesting. Also some people I knew were in that dream, my cousin had a gecko dæmon and my aunt had some songbird dæmon with a really confusing name that I can't remember. The strange thing is I can actually see them with those dæmons...

Another super weird thing is that almost every time I dream about dæmons half of the time instead of having their dæmon as a separate character the people in my dreams actually turn into their dæmon form. Weird right?

Do you sometimes forget that your dæ is there?

Yeah I do, though I guess it's less of forgetting him and more of just not projecting him. I've been trying to chat with him and project him a lot more than I do but it's difficult because it's harder to concentrate when you're thinking about what your dæmon is doing too.

What does your dæmon's name mean?

I think I already posted this on here, but I made his name up in like 3rd grade so yeah. XD Basically "Chi" is supposed to mean positive energy and at his time of creation I was a huge Pokémon fan so I added "Chu" because one he was originally a Pachirisu before he was a regular squirrel and two because I had read somewhere that in Japan "chu" describes the sound a rodent makes so I figured since he was a squirrel it would fit him.

He has another additional name now but I'm not sure if we're going to use it as much. Sometimes when I'm in a more serious mood I'll call him "Shane" which came from mispronouncing "Chicane" one time. (Chicane is sort of kind of not really his formal name. We just sort of created it to go with the TDF trend.)

So yeah we're kind of in a weird place with names right now but he really doesn't care what he's called. Half of the time I call him "The Squirrel" or "Squirrelly" XD

Anyway, that's pretty awesome that you get dæmon dreams. Sometimes wish that dæs were corporeal, but it might cause a bit of chaos. My friend says if my imagination could come to life, the world would be like a fantasy RPG mixed in with some How To Train Your Dragon and some Hunger Games *laughs until the chair falls over*

Well we've never been on any that are too extreme but yeah he's loved the ones we did go on. XD We're more into water parks and we like going on those rides more.

Where does your dæ sit whilst you're on rides?

It changes. I usually always project him on things like rides so he'll usually just be on my shoulder like he normally is but sometimes he'll jump up on my head or chill out in my shirt or whatever.

Well actually I don't really like amusement parks and haven't been to one since I started projecting Tae, so I don't really know ^^

Me and Tae are going to try out some new forms, for a challenge; we're going to try duikers, lemurs, some deer, civets, snakes, and perhaps some lizards as well. If anyone has any suggestions for different types of the animals I have mentioned to project (e.g blue duiker, yellow backed duiker, and so on,) feel free to PM me! I think I'm going to project him as a different animal each day, and hopefully we'll find some new forms we like enough to project long term ;D

It's a bit stupid, but we actually were at an amusement park yesterday and I didn't even project him once! I wish I had, now that I look back at it, but I can imagine what it would be like. So yeah, we both love rollercoasters a lot!

Where does your dæ sit whilst you're on rides?
Most likely at my lap or maybe in a bird form for more agility, though we don't really like birds. He doesn't change much at the moment, so at my lap would probably be my best guess

Oh that's a cool exercise! It's not really for Chi and I but I wish you and Tae luck in form finding. ^_^
