Hello, and welcome to the Summer Night Farms Chifloofery! Here you can adopt your very own Chifloofs!

My very own what?!
Oh! A chifloof is a very odd variety of domestic bird that is the result of a bird setting on an infertile Platypus egg for a month. The very first Chifloof was actually the result of a child playing games and trying to hatch out a basilisk. Instead what hatched out was essentially a four-legged chicken. It seems as though the wings were replaced by a second set of legs. Other than the four legs, chifloofs are very much like any other sort of bird out there, and can actually reproduce with either other Chifloofs, to produce a batch of all Chifloofs, or with birds (such as fowl and parrots) to produce a mix clutch of Chifloofs and seemingly purebred birds. The science behind it doesn't actually exist, so we simply choose to go with it.

So what varieties are there?
There are two breeds of chifloof:
Chicken Chifloof: The original chifloof! These cuties are four legged chickens, and weigh anywhere from 2 to 8 pounds!
Cockatoo Chifloof: A rather recent development! These little noise makers are four legged cockatoos, and weigh in at 2 to 4 pounds!

How do I adopt one?
You can adopt a chifloof by looking at the "Colored In Versions" under the main image and choosing a chick. All chifloofs start as chicks, and grow with age. The artist will tell you what breed it is. First make sure it is still open for adoption, and, if it is, you can fill out the adoption form, making sure to fulfill the requirements stated by the artist, try your best, and hope you win! Some competitions are to do with effort and input, while others are simply raffles and games.

*note- once adopted, a chifloof grows up!

Are there any rules?
There most certainly are! Please read them before continuing on to adopt or post
1. Respect all staff and users! No arguing, whining, bribing, etc.
2. Chifloofs (c) Perocore - Do not copy/steal/claim
3. You may own as many Chifloofs as you like, just don't be greedy!
4. Realize that artists and mods have their own lives, so contests may take time to judge, new adopts may take a while, etc.
5. Spam will not be tolerated. "Marking" is fine, but do not us all caps or text speak, or discuss the weather.
6. You can NOT ever sell Chifloofs to other users. If you no longer want it, tell the artist and they will put it back up for adoption.
7. Always credit Perocore when drawing or writing about your Chifloofs.
8. Have fune, ask questions, enjoy yourself.

Now that you've read all of that, you are welcome to post, check for staff openings, ask questions, and adopt your own chifloofs!

Why Chifloofs?:
Well first off Chicken like Beast thats why. I would love to help this cute and small species get on its feet and make it big.
Why You?:
Well, I'm Crazy For chickens, I have done Poultry Judging, held chickens, know way to much about chickens,Draw chickens, have a tumblr blog that is a Chicken. I also watches everything but does not talk much, I always want to help and I'm almost online most of the day.
Other: I do have dyslexia so i have that does not mater and Chicken
