He sighed. " I'm just worried. " He said in a calmer tone. " If Kestrelflame dies, It'll be all my fault. "

She placed her tail on his shoulder. "Its not your fault. Its mine." She lowered her head. "I saw your conversation, and if I hadn't been so blind way back then, all of this would never had happened. I wouldn't have hurt you, and Kestrelflame wouldn't be in the medicine cat's den." She said softly and sadly.

Willowleaf rolls her eyes* Stop arguing and do something productive just because ima medicine cat doesn't man I don't talk with greenstar about you warriors AND deputy * she says with no expression and takes krestleflame into the medicine den where she starts inspecting her*

Flintfoot

He ignored Willowleaf and replied to Flamewing. " No, I chose to love you. Apparently my choice was wrong. " Flintfoot stood up. " I'm going to the river. " He said briefly before exiting camp.

She watched him go sadly, her tail drooping. Lowering her head, she walked into the forest, but not in the same direction as Flintfoot. She watched his tail disappear into the undergrowth, and she padded away. She was hoping to stretch her legs, but not for too long, in case something bad happened back at camp. She walked along the edge of the territory, but stayed away from the thunder path.

Flintfoot

He sat on the bank of the river, staring down at the smooth water. Flintfoot then gritted his teeth and let out a deep, shuddering yowl of eternal pain. His heart has never been this torn.

Flamewing perked her ears up, hearing the howl. 'Flintfoot?' She thought. She bounded into the direction of the river. She stopped north of the river from where Flintfoot was, and bounded down south. Seeing the tom come into sight, she called out. "Are you ok? Is something happening?" She was worried that he was hurt.

Flintfoot

He was hunched over on the bank, teeth still gritted. He seemed to be still, but only the twitch of his ear I decayed he heard Flamewing, but didn't reply. Suddenly, a spot of sand turned darker, and then another. Flintfoot's tears dripped off his face and onto the ground beneath him.

She bounded over to his side. She was thankful that he wasn't being attacked, but now she didn't know what to say. "Flintfoot... I..." She looked for something to say. "Please don't be sad!" She blurted out. "Kestrelflame will be ok!"
