(I know it's part of his personality, but to me it sometimes seems like he has a lot of pity for himself because of his blindness. Just my opinion though; no offense intended. I actually really like Bracken.)

Amberflame watched her brother go before turning back to Brackenblaze. "I really want to get along with you." Her voice was much softer than it had been a moment ago. "Can't we do that? Can't we get along?" She brushed up against him to show her affection, though she wasn't sure how he would take it.

Weaselpaw stared at her a moment longer, then shrugged and continued eating. "Hey, are you okay?" he asked when he'd finished the mouse. "You look kinda down."

Brackenblaze grunted, "So do i, but the more i think about it, the more i realize, i don't know why i'm a warrior."

Fallowkit nodded. "I'm fine." She was reluncant to tell him about what had happened, scared he'd treat her differently.

Heartclaw glanced at Brackenblaze, and then back to Birchfall, "I would mind him, to be honest, i don't think he should be a warrior."

"Why do you say that?" Birchfall asked, suddenly protective of the cat that had just hurt his feelings. "Is it b'cause he's blind? He's a great warrio'."

Heartclaw smiled, "There ya go," he purred, "Just because you don't like his personality, doesn't mean you don't lov'em anyless."

Brackenblaze's clouded eyes flashed with anger and he growled, "You can't make everything better by coming back to say hello," he growled and stalked away.

Heartclaw shrugged, "My life really hasn't, i mean, i don't remember much of the bad things that have happened." He looked around the camp. He saw three of Kestrelstar's kits talking to eachother. He want to ask Brichfall how Lionblaze was.

Tha black tabby watched him go, then returned her eyes to her paws.

Heartclaw lied his head on his paws again, happy to be in the sun once more.

"Yeah, tha'ks H'artclaw." Birchfall smiled slightly.

Heartclaw dipped his head and then turned to Thrushtalon, "You alright?"
